Fits JBL Synchros E50BT wireless headphones; replaces OEM part P433638.
3.7V, 570mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers rated talk time across full call cycles without mid-call cutout.
Connector slides into headset battery compartment with single locking tab; polarity marked on cell body.
We bench-tested this pack on a full discharge cycle; BMS accepted charge handshake from standard USB charger immediately.
On first use, charge the headset for a complete cycle in the base station before taking calls — the base logs the new cell firmware, which improves talk-time accuracy over the next three cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

JBL Synchros E50BT — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (P433638)

This 3.7V, 570mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the original P433638 battery inside the JBL Synchros E50BT over-ear wireless headphones. It restores Bluetooth audio playback, active noise cancellation, and onboard controls to full function. Dimensions are 46.00 x 40.20 x 4.24mm — physically matched to the original cell cavity.

  • Synchros E50BT fit: The E50BT runs a single-cell Li-Polymer pack at 3.7V nominal, shared across Bluetooth radio, ANC circuit, and playback. This replacement matches that voltage rail and the original connector orientation, so the headset's onboard BMS accepts the cell without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the E50BT platform and confirmed the BMS completed its handshake without fault codes. Charge acceptance was clean from storage voltage through to termination.
  • ANC draw on first charge: The E50BT's ANC circuit pulls current alongside the Bluetooth radio simultaneously. On first use, charge the headphones to full termination before enabling ANC — this lets the BMS log the cell's actual capacity ceiling before high-draw operation begins.

Why the E50BT cuts out mid-track after a battery swap

A freshly installed cell often sits at storage voltage — around 3.6V — not full charge. When the ANC circuit and Bluetooth radio both draw simultaneously, that marginal voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold and the headset shuts down. This is not a faulty battery. It is the BMS protecting a cell that was never brought to full charge first. Charge the headset fully before first use — the cutout stops once the cell reaches 4.2V termination.

Talk time shorter than expected across the first few uses

Li-Polymer cells do not deliver peak capacity on cycle one. The E50BT's combined ANC and Bluetooth draw makes this gap more noticeable than it would be on a simpler device. Capacity improves progressively across three to five full charge-discharge cycles as the electrolyte fully wets the electrode surfaces. By cycle five, measured output should be at or near the rated 2.11Wh.

Frequently Asked Questions

My E50BT headphones shut off randomly mid-song even though the battery indicator showed charge remaining — what's happening?

This is a voltage sag fault, not a charge display error. The ANC circuit and Bluetooth radio together pull enough current to drag a partially charged cell below the BMS cutoff, even when the indicator still reads mid-level. The indicator reads resting voltage, not load voltage — those diverge under combined draw. Charge the headset to full termination (4.2V) before use and the random shutoffs stop.

The headphones feel noticeably warm on the right ear cup after an hour of ANC use — is that normal with the new cell?

Yes, and it is specific to the E50BT's housing. The ANC processor, Bluetooth chipset, and battery sit in a compact stack inside that cup. Sustained combined draw in a small enclosure generates heat. As long as the headset stays warm rather than hot and does not shut down, the cell and BMS are operating within spec. If it does shut down from heat, reduce ANC-on sessions until the cell has completed its first three full cycles.

After fitting the replacement battery, the E50BT charges briefly then stops — the LED goes from red to white within a few minutes instead of after a full cycle. What's wrong?

The BMS likely read the cell's storage-state voltage as near-full and terminated charge early. This is a first-cycle calibration issue, not a defective cell. Power the headset on, run it until it shuts off from low voltage, then place it back on charge for a complete uninterrupted cycle. After one full discharge-to-charge cycle, the BMS recalibrates its capacity window and charge termination returns to the correct point.
