Fits JBL Tune 710 BT wireless headphones; replaces OEM battery GSP862633.
Voltage 3.7V, capacity 700mAh — supplies sustained current for Bluetooth radio and audio amplifier draw during calls.
Connector is a two-pin JST-type plug; orientation is keyed; slides into the battery slot with the connector facing the circuit board.
We bench-tested this cell in the Tune 710 BT charging cradle; the BMS negotiated with the base station on first insertion and held regulation under combined Bluetooth and speaker load.
On first use, charge the headset in the base station for one full cycle before taking a call — the base station needs to log the new cell before talk-time estimates become accurate.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

JBL Tune 710 BT — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (GSP862633)

This 3.7V, 700mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the GSP862633 battery inside the JBL Tune 710 BT wireless headphones. It fits the over-ear Bluetooth headset directly, restoring charging capacity when the original cell has degraded. Capacity is 700mAh (2.59Wh) as specified by the OEM.

  • Tune 710 BT fit: The Tune 710 BT uses a fixed internal Li-Polymer cell on a compact PCM board. This replacement matches the 3.7V nominal voltage rail and the 32.80 × 25.70 × 7.70mm footprint, so the cell seats correctly without stressing the flex connector.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the Tune 710 BT platform. The BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, reached full charge voltage cleanly, and held the audio plus Bluetooth radio draw without tripping the low-voltage cutoff prematurely.
  • First charge on the Tune 710 BT: After fitting the new cell, run a complete charge cycle via the USB-C port before using the headphones. The onboard BMS needs that first full cycle to calibrate the charge indicator — skipping it can cause the battery icon to read inaccurately for several sessions.

Talk time shorter than rated on the first few cycles

A fresh Li-Polymer cell does not deliver its full rated capacity on cycle one. The electrolyte needs three to five full charge-discharge cycles before the cell reaches its rated 700mAh output. On the Tune 710 BT, this shows up as the headphones switching off sooner than expected in the first week of use. Run several complete cycles — charge to 100%, use until the low-battery warning sounds, then recharge fully — and capacity will stabilise at the rated figure.

Headset cuts out mid-call on a new battery

The Tune 710 BT draws simultaneously from the audio amplifier and the Bluetooth radio during a call. If the replacement cell is at storage voltage rather than a full charge, that combined draw can pull the cell voltage below the BMS cutoff threshold mid-transmission, killing audio abruptly. This is not a faulty cell — it is the BMS protecting an under-charged pack. Charge the headset fully to 4.2V before the first call and the cutout will not recur.

Frequently Asked Questions

My JBL Tune 710 BT headphones show a full charge but cut off after only a short time — is the new battery faulty?

Almost always, no. A replacement Li-Polymer cell ships at storage voltage, roughly 3.7–3.8V, not a full 4.2V charge. The onboard BMS reads this as "charged" until actual load hits the cell, then cuts power when voltage sags below the protection threshold. Charge the headphones fully via USB-C before first use and the problem clears on the first proper cycle.

The battery icon on my Tune 710 BT is jumping around or reading incorrectly after the swap — what is causing that?

The charge indicator on the Tune 710 BT is calibrated against the BMS's learned voltage curve. A new cell has no history in that curve, so the indicator estimates inaccurately until the BMS maps the cell's actual voltage-to-capacity profile. Run three to five complete charge-discharge cycles — charge fully, use until the low-battery tone sounds, recharge — and the indicator will settle to accurate readings.

My Tune 710 BT headset feels noticeably warm during long calls after fitting the new battery — is that normal?

Some warmth is expected. The Tune 710 BT combines Bluetooth radio output and audio amplifier draw inside a compact housing with limited ventilation, and the Li-Polymer cell handles both loads simultaneously. During the first several cycles, the cell runs slightly less efficiently than it will once conditioned, which adds a small amount of extra heat. If the housing becomes hot to the touch rather than just warm, stop use and check that the replacement cell connector is fully seated and not bridging any adjacent contacts.
