This 3.7V, 1800mAh Li-ion battery replaces OEM part 900102095 in the Konftel 55W and 55WX conference phones. These are portable business conference units used for wireless meeting calls. Install this pack to restore untethered operation when the original cell no longer holds a useful charge.

Run the unit through one full charge from flat to 100% and the indicator will recalibrate to the new cell's voltage curve.

Conference unit not turning on after a battery swap

Replacement packs stored in a warehouse can drop below the BMS low-voltage lockout threshold — typically under 2.5V per cell for a 3.7V Li-ion pack. When that happens, the unit receives no power and shows no response at all. Connect the unit to the original Konftel charger and leave it for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on. Most BMS circuits will accept a trickle charge at this point and step up to normal charging once the cell recovers above the lockout floor.

Yes, this is a known voltage sag symptom. Under sustained combined audio processing and wireless transmission draw, a degraded or low-charge cell can't hold the voltage rail steady, and the unit drops its wireless link to protect the circuit. Charge the battery fully before the meeting and check whether the drop-outs stop — if they do, the old cell was sagging under load and this replacement pack will resolve it.

My Konftel 55W feels noticeably warm during extended conference sessions — is that normal with a new battery?

Some warmth is expected. The 55W housing is compact and encloses the battery closely, so heat from sustained wireless and audio draw has limited airflow to dissipate through. The pack is rated for normal operating temperatures well above what a standard meeting generates. If the unit becomes hot to the touch or shuts itself down, check that the battery contacts are fully seated and the ventilation slots on the underside of the unit are clear.

The charging dock isn't registering the new battery — the charge light never comes on.

Dock contact resistance is the most common cause. Storage handling can leave a light residue on the battery's contact pads that's enough to interrupt the charge circuit. Remove the pack, wipe the gold contacts on both the battery and the dock with a dry cloth, reseat the pack firmly, and recheck. If the charge light still doesn't activate, confirm the dock cable is delivering power — measure at the adapter output and look for 5V DC.
