Fits Kyocera DuraXV LTE, DuraXTP, E4610, E4520 — replaces OEM battery SCP-69LBPS for full device restoration.
Delivers 3.7V at 1400mAh, providing 5.18Wh total energy to sustain modem, screen, and standby draw across a full operational cycle.
Li-ion cell slides into the vertical battery slot with contact pins aligned to the upper left — no locking tab; seat firmly until flush.
We cycled this pack through full discharge-charge on a DuraXV LTE test unit; the BMS accepted the cell without fault codes and held voltage steady under modem load.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Kyocera DuraXV LTE / DuraXTP Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (SCP-69LBPS)

This is a 3.7V, 1400mAh Li-ion cell built to the SCP-69LBPS specification. It fits the Kyocera DuraXV LTE, DuraXTP, E4610, and E4520 — a line of rugged smartphones used in trade and field environments. Voltage and connector match OEM spec directly.

  • DuraXV LTE / DuraXTP platform compatibility: These models share the same 3.7V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. Swapping between units in this family does not require a different cell — the SCP-69LBPS services the full range.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the DuraXV LTE's charge IC and confirmed BMS communication, charge acceptance, and cutoff behaviour. The cell accepted a full charge cycle without triggering a fault state.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle before resuming normal use. The phone's fuel gauge IC is calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — one full cycle resets the coulomb counter against the new cell's actual capacity baseline.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the DuraXV LTE after a cell swap

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a defective cell. Under modem transmit load or screen brightness spikes, an uncalibrated cell can drop below the BMS's minimum voltage threshold even when the OS reports 25% remaining. The fuel gauge IC is still reading from the old discharge curve, so the percentage shown is wrong. Run one full discharge cycle down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this gives the coulomb counter a real measurement baseline to work from.

Phone feels warm near the battery compartment during the first charge

A new cell typically has higher internal impedance than a worn one, which causes the charge IC to work harder during the first few cycles — that generates heat. This is normal and settles after two or three full cycles as the cell's impedance drops. If the phone becomes hot to the touch or charging stops before 100%, disconnect and let the device cool to room temperature before resuming. Check that the battery contacts are fully seated — a partial connection increases resistance and amplifies the effect.

Frequently Asked Questions

My DuraXV LTE shows 25% battery but shuts off immediately — is the new cell faulty?

The cell is almost certainly fine. This is a voltage cliff — the phone's fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old worn cell's discharge curve, so the percentage shown does not match the new cell's actual state of charge. Under modem or screen load, the new cell momentarily dips below the BMS cutoff voltage even though the OS hasn't caught up. Run one full discharge to automatic shutoff followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%, and the coulomb counter will recalibrate to the new cell.

The battery percentage on my DuraXV LTE jumps around erratically after fitting the replacement — sometimes gaining 10% without charging.

This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating. It was tuned to the degraded capacity of the old cell and is now reading a new cell with a different discharge curve. The readings will be erratic until the phone maps the new cell's voltage-to-capacity relationship. Complete two full discharge-charge cycles — uninterrupted, no top-ups mid-cycle — and the percentage reporting will stabilise.

Fast charging stopped working on my DuraXV LTE after I put in the new battery — it only charges slowly now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the phone's charge IC sometimes defaults to standard charge current until it confirms BMS communication with the new cell. This is a handshake behaviour, not a fault. Charge the phone fully at the slower rate, then disconnect and reconnect the charger — fast charging typically resumes on the second cycle once the charge IC has logged a completed session with the new cell's BMS profile.
