Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Lenovo K320T / PABY0001CN — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (LB001)
This 3.85V, 3000mAh lithium-polymer battery replaces the OEM LB001 cell in the Lenovo K320T (PABY0001CN) smartphone. It fits directly into the battery bay without modification. Voltage and physical dimensions match the original: 83.60 × 63.25 × 4.50mm.
- K320T / PABY0001CN platform fit: Both model designations share the same PCB layout, battery connector, and BMS handshake protocol. The LB001 cell is the single battery SKU across the full K320T production run — no hardware revision changed the battery bay dimensions or nominal voltage.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the K320T mainboard. The BMS accepted the cell on first connection, charge current stepped up correctly through the CC/CV phases, and the protection circuit tripped as expected at the low-voltage cutoff threshold.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-charge cycle at standard current. The K320T's fuel gauge IC is calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — giving it one uninterrupted cycle lets it remap the coulomb counter against the new cell before high-current charging begins.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the K320T after a cell swap
This is a voltage cliff problem, not a capacity problem. The K320T's modem and display pull simultaneous high current during active use, and a new cell with an uncalibrated fuel gauge can report 25% remaining while the actual cell voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold under load. The phone shuts off even though the percentage shown looks safe. One full discharge-charge cycle recalibrates the coulomb counter — after that, the percentage reading tracks actual cell voltage correctly. If shutdowns persist past two full cycles, check that cell voltage at rest reads above 3.7V before initiating a charge.
K320T not powering on after the replacement battery sat in storage
Li-polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if the LB001 cell dropped below approximately 2.5V the BMS will have engaged a deep-discharge lockout to prevent cell damage. Plugging in the charger normally shows nothing — the phone won't respond. Connect the device to a wall charger, not a PC USB port, and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC trickle-charges the cell at low current until voltage climbs back above the BMS recovery threshold, typically around 2.9–3.0V, at which point normal charging resumes and the phone can power on.

Frequently Asked Questions
The K320T shows the wrong battery percentage after I put in the new battery — it jumped from 15% to 60% without charging. What's going on?
The fuel gauge IC on the K320T is still reading from the discharge curve it mapped against the old, degraded cell. The new cell has a different impedance profile, so the coulomb counter is misreporting state of charge. Run one full uninterrupted discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge to 100% without removing the cable — this forces the IC to remap against the new cell curve. After that single cycle, percentage jumps like this should stop.
Fast charging stopped working on my K320T after I installed the replacement battery — it's only slow charging now. Is something broken?
This is expected on the first cycle with a new cell. The K320T's charge IC re-evaluates the cell's internal resistance at the start of each session, and a brand-new cell reads higher impedance than a worn one. The controller defaults to a lower charge current until it has enough data to trust the cell. Complete one full standard charge cycle without interrupting it, and the charge IC will step current back up to the fast-charge rate on the next session. If fast charging still doesn't engage after two full cycles, confirm the charger output is at least 5V/2A — the protocol won't negotiate above standard current on a lower-output adapter.
My K320T feels warm near the back panel while charging the new battery. Should I be concerned?
Mild warmth during the first few charge cycles is normal with a new lithium-polymer cell. A fresh cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in one, so the charge IC dissipates slightly more energy as heat during the constant-current phase. Warmth should reduce noticeably after two to three full cycles as impedance settles. If the phone becomes hot to the touch — uncomfortable to hold against your palm — stop the charge, let it cool to room temperature, and check that the battery connector is fully seated flat against the board with no raised edge on the connector tab.
