Fits Vivo V15 Pro and model 1818; replaces OEM part B-G1.
3.85V and 3700mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers the original capacity and voltage curve.
Connector seats flush into the internal battery slot with no modifications required.
Bench testing showed clean BMS handshake on first insertion with normal charge acceptance.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle—this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Vivo V15 Pro / 1818 — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (B-G1)

This is a 3700mAh (14.25Wh) Li-Polymer cell for the Vivo V15 Pro (model 1818). It replaces the original B-G1 battery when capacity has dropped, the phone shuts down unexpectedly, or the original cell no longer holds a usable charge. Voltage is 3.85V nominal — match this before fitting any cell to this board.

  • V15 Pro and 1818 compatibility: Both model identifiers reference the same hardware revision. The battery connector, BMS handshake, and charge IC are identical across V15 Pro units sold under either number. One cell fits both.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge, full discharge, and a second charge sequence on a V15 Pro unit. The BMS accepted the cell without error flags, and the charge IC ramped normally through CC and CV phases.
  • First-cycle fast charge protocol: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on a new B-G1 cell

A freshly fitted cell can trigger abrupt shutdowns while the percentage indicator still reads 20–30%. This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. When the new cell's actual voltage drops under screen or modem load, it hits the hardware cutoff before the gauge catches up. Running two full discharge-charge cycles at standard rate resolves this — the coulomb counter resets to the new cell's parameters after those cycles complete.

USB fast charge not activating after cell replacement

After a B-G1 swap, some V15 Pro units charge at standard rate only, even with a fast-charge adapter connected. The charge IC on this board performs a handshake with the BMS on first cycle — if the cell voltage is low from storage, the IC defaults to a conservative charge rate until it confirms cell health. Charge the phone fully once at standard rate. On the second charge session, fast charging typically re-engages as the IC accepts the new cell's impedance profile.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Vivo V15 Pro shuts off at around 25% after fitting the new battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC in the V15 Pro is still running the discharge curve from the old battery, so it misjudges where the voltage cliff actually sits on the new cell. Under modem or screen load, the cell voltage dips below the hardware cutoff before the gauge registers empty. Run two full discharge-charge cycles at standard rate — no fast charging — and the coulomb counter will recalibrate to the new cell's curve.

The battery percentage is jumping around erratically after I replaced the B-G1 — sometimes it reads 60%, then drops to 40% in minutes.

Erratic percentage readings are a fuel gauge IC recalibration problem, not a cell defect. The IC's stored capacity model no longer matches the new cell, so it interpolates badly between reference points. Drain the phone fully until it powers off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without removing the cable. One complete cycle is usually enough to anchor the gauge to the new cell's actual endpoints.

The phone feels warm near the battery during the first few charges with the new cell — is that normal?

Some warmth on the first one or two charge sessions is expected with a new Li-Polymer cell. A freshly installed cell has higher internal impedance until it has been cycled, and the charge IC pushes current into a cell it hasn't profiled yet. Keep fast charging disabled for the first full cycle to reduce the current rate while impedance settles. If the phone is hot to touch — not just warm — stop charging and check that the connector is fully seated flat against the board.
