Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Liectroux C30B Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (MD-C30B)
This is a 14.4V 3400mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Liectroux C30B robotic vacuum. It fits the C30B, C30B 2D, C30B 2D Wifi Robot Vacuum Cleaner, and E30 models. OEM part number MD-C30B. Capacity is 48.96Wh.
- C30B and E30 platform fit: These models share the same 14.4V power rail, battery bay dimensions, and BMS communication protocol. The MD-C30B part number covers all variants in this range — the connector pinout and housing are identical across C30B, C30B 2D, and E30 units.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on C30B hardware. The BMS handshake cleared without error, charge acceptance was normal from flat, and overcurrent protection tripped correctly under a simulated motor blockage before recovery.
- Dock charging discipline for the C30B: Liectroux robotic vacuums left on the dock continuously after reaching full charge develop capacity fade faster than those charged only when depleted. Once the indicator shows full, remove the unit from the dock. Return it when the battery is low.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator shows low on the C30B
This happens when cell voltage sags under motor load before the indicator threshold triggers. A degraded or partially discharged cell cannot sustain the 14.4V rail under the sustained draw of the suction motor — voltage drops, the motor slows, and suction weakens. The battery indicator reads state-of-charge at rest, not under load, so it can still show green while suction is already reduced. A replacement cell at full charge restores rail voltage under load; if suction still drops early, check the filter before assuming the battery is at fault.
Motor cuts out mid-clean and then recovers after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a battery failure. When the suction path is restricted — blocked brush roll, clogged filter, or debris caught at the inlet — the motor draws above its rated current to maintain speed. The BMS interprets this as a fault and cuts power to protect the cell. After a few seconds the protection resets and the motor restarts. Clean the filter and clear the brush roll first. If the trip repeats on a clean, unobstructed machine, verify battery voltage under load reads above 12.5V before suspecting the cell.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Liectroux C30B charges fine but loses suction well before the battery light turns red — what's happening?
The battery indicator on the C30B measures resting voltage, not voltage under motor load. A cell with capacity fade can read healthy at rest but sag below the motor's required rail voltage the moment suction demand kicks in. Replacing the battery restores the voltage the motor needs to sustain full suction. If the new cell shows the same behaviour, check whether the filter is partially blocked — restricted airflow forces the motor to draw more current, which accelerates voltage sag even on a healthy cell.
The C30B stops, sits for a few seconds, then starts cleaning again — why does it keep doing this?
This is a BMS overcurrent trip cycling repeatedly. The suction motor is drawing above its rated current — usually because the filter is clogged or the brush roll has hair wrapped around it — and the BMS cuts power to protect the cell before resetting. Clear the brush roll completely, tap out the filter, and run the vacuum again. If trips continue on a clean machine with a new battery installed, check that cell voltage under load stays above 12.5V, which confirms the BMS is tripping on a real restriction rather than a weak cell.
I replaced the battery in my Liectroux C30B but it won't charge — the dock light just blinks and nothing happens.
Some Liectroux chargers expect a BMS handshake from the battery before initiating a charge cycle. If the replacement cell arrived in a deeply discharged state, the BMS may have shut down entirely and will not respond to the charger. Connect the battery to the dock and leave it undisturbed for 20–30 minutes — many BMS circuits recover from deep cutoff with a trickle pre-charge before switching to normal charge mode. If the dock light is still blinking after that window, confirm the dock pins are making clean contact and that the battery's connector is fully seated.
