Fits LucidSound LS35X wireless headset, replaces OEM battery 3.7V 1500mAh Li-Polymer cell.
3.7V nominal, 1500mAh capacity delivers 5.55Wh total energy for sustained DECT radio and audio draw.
Connector slides into headset battery slot with single locking tab; orientation marked on housing.
We bench-tested the cell on LS35X charging dock — BMS accepted handshake on first insertion, voltage held steady under combined wireless and audio load.
On first use, charge the headset in the base station for one full cycle before taking calls — the dock needs to log the new cell before talk-time estimates are accurate.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

LucidSound LS35X — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery

This 3.7V 1500mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the internal battery in the LucidSound LS35X wireless gaming headset. The LS35X runs wireless audio and its transmitter circuit from this single cell. When the original cell degrades and charge no longer holds, this replacement restores full function without replacing the headset.

  • LS35X platform fit: The LS35X uses a compact Li-Polymer cell to power both the wireless radio and audio amplifier from the same voltage rail. The cell dimensions — 50.70 × 34.00 × 8.00mm — match the original pack envelope, and the connector orientation aligns with the board without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell under combined wireless and audio draw. The BMS held voltage stable through sustained use and triggered cutoff cleanly at low charge rather than dropping unexpectedly mid-session.
  • First charge on the LS35X: Seat the headset in its base station and run a full charge cycle before use. The base station logs the new cell during this cycle — without it, the talk-time indicator reads inaccurately for the first several sessions.

Base station showing a charging error after fitting a new cell

The LS35X base station communicates with the headset's BMS to confirm cell status before registering a charge cycle. If the new cell arrives at storage voltage — typically around 3.6V — the base may flag an error or show no charge activity at all. This is a BMS handshake issue, not a fault with the battery or the base. Place the headset in the cradle and leave it undisturbed for a full charge cycle; the handshake completes once the BMS reports a valid state-of-charge above the base's recognition threshold.

Headset cutting out mid-session on a new battery

The LS35X draws from the cell simultaneously for the wireless transmitter and the audio amplifier. Under that combined load, a cell not yet through its first conditioning cycles can sag below the BMS cutoff threshold — triggering a shutdown that looks like a flat battery. This is not a defective cell. Run three to five full charge and discharge cycles through the base station, and the voltage floor under load stabilises. After conditioning, cutoffs under normal use should occur at or below 3.2V rather than mid-session.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my LS35X base station show a full charge but the headset cuts off after just a short time?

The cell ships at storage voltage, and the base station's charge indicator can show full before the cell has completed a proper first cycle. The talk-time estimate the base displays is also inaccurate until the BMS has logged at least one full charge-to-cutoff cycle. Seat the headset in the base, let it charge completely undisturbed, then drain it through normal use before recharging. After two to three cycles the displayed charge level and actual capacity align.

My LS35X is cutting out mid-session even though the battery indicator looked fine — what's causing that?

This is a voltage sag issue. The LS35X pulls current simultaneously from the wireless radio and audio circuits, and on a new or recently replaced cell that combined draw can pull voltage below the BMS cutoff before the cell reads as low. It is not a failed battery — it is a cell that needs conditioning. Run three to five complete charge and discharge cycles through the base station, and the sag under load reduces. After conditioning, the cutoff under normal use should not occur until cell voltage drops to around 3.2V.

The LS35X headset gets noticeably warm during long sessions — is that a battery problem?

Some warmth is expected. The LS35X housing is compact, and the cell is sustaining continuous draw from both the wireless transmitter and the amplifier with limited ventilation. If the warmth is consistent and the headset is functioning normally, it is not a battery fault. If the headset becomes hot to the touch or shuts down without a low-battery warning, the BMS may be tripping on thermal load — in that case, let the headset cool to room temperature before reseating it in the base and starting a fresh charge cycle.
