Check the wireless channel congestion on your network — a scanner repeatedly retrying RF packets burns cell capacity faster than clean transmission. If the pack is fully charged to 12.6V at the start of the shift and endurance is still short, log the scan volume per shift and compare it against the previous battery's age, as an aged cell often appears to last longer early in the day before dropping off sharply.
