Fits Mamirobot 416, 461, K3, K5 and three other models; replaces OEM part 12SC3000S1P.
14.4V 3600mAh Ni-MH pack delivers full motor torque on carpet and hard floors.
Connector slides onto the dock contact pins with a single locking tab engagement.
We bench-tested this cell on the factory charger; BMS accepted the pack without fault codes.
Do not leave the vacuum on the charging dock continuously — trickle charging degrades Ni-MH capacity faster than charge-and-remove cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Mamirobot 416 / K3 / K5 Series — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (12SC3000S1P)

This is a 14.4V 3600mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Mamirobot robotic vacuum cleaner range. It fits the 416, 461, K3, and K5 models, among others. Voltage and capacity match the OEM spec — 14.4V, 3600mAh (51.84Wh).

  • 416 / 461 / K3 / K5 platform fit: These models share a common 14.4V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell pack covers the full range without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the K3 platform. The BMS responded correctly to the charger handshake, accepted a full charge without fault codes, and held voltage within spec across sustained motor load.
  • Dock charging habit on Mamirobot units: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. Mamirobot robotic vacuums on continuous dock charge develop capacity fade significantly faster than units charged only when depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.

Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low

Ni-MH cells lose voltage under load before they lose capacity on the gauge. When the motor pulls hard — dense carpet, a partially blocked filter — cell voltage sags below what the motor controller needs, and suction drops noticeably. The indicator reads mid-charge because it measures resting voltage, not load voltage. Clean the filter first; if sag continues on a new pack, check for a partial blockage in the suction path that is forcing the motor to overdraw.

Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — clogged filter, tangled brush roll, or carpet fibres blocking the intake — the motor draws more current than the BMS threshold allows, and the pack shuts off momentarily to protect the cells. It resets once current demand drops. Clear the filter and check the brush roll before assuming the battery is faulty. If the cutout continues after cleaning, verify the filter is fully seated and not bypassed.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Mamirobot finishes cleaning way earlier than it used to — filter is clean, battery is new. What's happening?

A partially blocked intake or worn brush roll forces the motor to draw above its rated current, burning through charge faster even with a clean filter. Check the brush roll for hair or fibre wrap, and inspect the suction channel between the brush bay and the dust bin for partial blockages. A restricted path raises motor draw significantly without triggering a full BMS cutoff. Clear the path fully and run another cycle — draw should return to normal.

The Mamirobot stopped docking and charging after I installed the replacement battery — it just sits on the dock with no charge light.

The Mamirobot charger uses a BMS handshake to confirm the pack before starting charge. If the replacement cell's BMS does not respond to that handshake within the expected window, the charger stays idle. Lift the vacuum off the dock, wait 30 seconds, then reseat it firmly — poor dock contact is the most common cause. If the charge light still does not activate, confirm the dock pins are clean and making solid contact with the battery terminals; wipe both contact surfaces with a dry cloth before reseating.

My Mamirobot's battery faded badly within a few months of fitting the original — will that happen again with this replacement?

Continuous dock charging is the main cause of early capacity fade in Ni-MH robotic vacuum packs. Trickle current over days and weeks degrades the cells faster than normal use. With this replacement, charge the pack fully and remove the vacuum from the dock — only return it to charge when the battery is genuinely low. That single habit change extends cell life significantly. Ni-MH chemistry tolerates partial discharge better than it tolerates permanent float charge.
