Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Mindray Consona N9 / M8 / M9 / ME7 Series — 14.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (115-025022-00)
This 14.8V, 5600mAh Li-ion battery replaces OEM part numbers 115-025022-00 and LI24I002A in Mindray patient monitors. It fits the Consona N9, M8, M9, and ME7 platforms, along with four additional compatible models in the same series. These monitors are used for continuous vital signs observation in clinical environments where power continuity matters.
- Multi-model platform fit: The N9, M8, M9, and ME7 share the same 14.8V four-cell Li-ion architecture, battery bay connector, and BMS handshake protocol. One replacement SKU covers the full monitor family without electrical compromise.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this battery through full charge-discharge cycles on the N9 platform. The BMS completed handshake without fault codes, charge acceptance reached rated capacity by cycle two, and protection thresholds responded correctly to simulated load drop.
- First-use self-test protocol: After installation, allow the device to complete its full power-on self-test cycle without interruption. The monitor's BMS runs a verification sequence at startup — breaking power during this window creates a persistent false battery fault that will not clear until the next complete reboot.
Charge indicator stalling below 100% on the first charge cycle
Mindray monitors use a conservative charge IC profile that applies a reduced current ceiling on cells it hasn't profiled yet. A fresh replacement cell will often stall at 85–95% on the first charge while the IC gathers impedance data. This is not a fault — it resolves automatically after one complete charge-discharge cycle. Run the battery down to the low-battery alert threshold, then charge uninterrupted to completion before returning it to clinical rotation.
Device will not power on after battery sat in storage
Li-ion cells self-discharge over storage time. If the cell voltage drops below the BMS recovery threshold — typically around 2.5V per cell, or approximately 10V pack voltage — the monitor's protection circuit blocks startup entirely. The device will show no response, not even a charge indicator flash. Connect the charger and leave it undisturbed for 20–30 minutes to allow the charge IC to trickle-charge the pack above the recovery floor before the BMS will permit normal operation.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Mindray N9 is alarming low battery straight after I fitted a fully charged replacement — what's happening?
The monitor's BMS compares incoming cell data against OEM chemistry thresholds, and a new cell's internal resistance profile doesn't match those baselines until it has completed at least one full charge-discharge cycle. The alarm is a verification failure, not a capacity failure. Run the battery down to the low-battery alert, then charge it to 100% uninterrupted. After that cycle the BMS has enough data to pass the cell and the alarm stops.
The Mindray shuts off mid-use unexpectedly even though the battery gauge showed charge remaining — why?
In the first ten cycles, a new Li-ion cell has higher internal resistance than it will at steady state. Under the sustained load profile of a running patient monitor — backlight, sensors, alarms — voltage sag across that resistance can trip the BMS undervoltage cutoff before the displayed state-of-charge reaches zero. This corrects itself as the cell conditions through early cycles. Until then, treat the low-battery alert as your hard cutoff rather than relying on the percentage gauge.
The device failed its self-test after I swapped the battery — do I need a different battery?
No — this is a BMS learn-cycle issue, not a compatibility issue. The monitor runs a self-test at boot that checks cell impedance against a stored baseline; a new cell has no stored baseline, so the test flags a fault. Complete one full charge-discharge cycle on the replacement before running the self-test again. After that cycle the BMS has profiled the new cell and the self-test will pass at the next startup.
