Fits OnePlus ACE 150W smartphone, replaces OEM battery part number BLP921.
This 7.74V, 2150mAh Li-Polymer cell restores full charge capacity to a degraded original battery.
Connector type is proprietary OnePlus, seats into the battery slot with locking tab engagement.
We bench-tested the BMS against the ACE 150W fuel gauge IC; the cell accepted USB-PD handshake on insertion without fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the coulomb counter recalibrates against the new cell curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

OnePlus ACE 150W — 7.74V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BLP921)

This is a Li-Polymer replacement battery for the OnePlus ACE 150W smartphone. It carries OEM part number BLP921 and runs at 7.74V with 2150mAh (16.64Wh) capacity. Fits the ACE 150W when the original cell has degraded past usable charge retention.

  • ACE 150W platform fit: The BLP921 matches the voltage rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake required by the ACE 150W charge IC. Substituting a cell with a different nominal voltage or authentication profile will cause the charge circuit to reject it outright.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the BLP921 through charge and discharge cycles on the ACE 150W platform. The BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, and the charge IC progressed normally through CC and CV phases.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after install: On first use, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-charge cycle at standard current. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before 150W fast charging pushes high current into an uncalibrated cell — otherwise the percentage readout will drift.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the ACE 150W after a cell swap

The ACE 150W's modem and display together draw enough current to expose a voltage cliff in a new cell before the fuel gauge IC has learned its actual discharge curve. When the cell voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold under that combined load, the phone shuts down even though the reported percentage still shows charge remaining. The fuel gauge IC is still referencing the old cell's coulomb curve. One full discharge-to-shutdown, then a complete charge at standard rate, recalibrates the counter against the new cell and moves the reported percentage back in line with actual cell voltage.

150W fast charge not initiating on the first cycle after replacement

OnePlus' proprietary fast charge protocol requires a handshake between the charger, the phone's charge IC, and the BMS. On a freshly installed cell, the BMS may report an unrecognised state to the charge IC, which causes it to fall back to standard 5W input as a precaution. This is not a fault with the cell or the charger. Complete one full charge-discharge cycle at standard current first — on the second cycle, the BMS state registers correctly and fast charging re-engages at full rate.

Frequently Asked Questions

My OnePlus ACE 150W shows the wrong battery percentage after fitting the BLP921 — is something wrong with the cell?

Nothing is wrong with the cell. The fuel gauge IC inside the ACE 150W uses a coulomb counter calibrated to the discharge curve of the original cell. When you install a new BLP921, the counter is still referencing old data, so reported percentage and actual cell voltage fall out of sync. Run one complete discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge fully at standard (non-fast) current. After that cycle the fuel gauge IC maps the new curve and percentage readings stabilise.

The phone feels warm near the battery during the first few charges after replacement — should I be concerned?

Mild warmth on the first few charges is expected. A new high-impedance cell presents slightly more internal resistance than a broken-in one, so the charge IC dissipates marginally more heat during the constant-current phase. We saw the same pattern on the bench — surface temperature normalised after three to four charge cycles as internal resistance settled. If the phone becomes hot to the touch or the charge IC throws a thermal warning on-screen, stop charging and check that the replacement cell is seated flat with no pressure on the connector.

The ACE 150W won't power on at all after the BLP921 sat in storage for several weeks before installation — what's happened?

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if the BLP921 dropped below approximately 2.5V per cell during that period, the BMS has entered a lockout state to prevent damage. Plug into a wall charger — not a PC USB port — using the original OnePlus cable and adapter. The charge IC will attempt a trickle pre-charge to bring the cell voltage back above the BMS recovery threshold, which typically takes 10–20 minutes before the phone will respond. Once the cell clears 3.0V per cell the BMS releases the lockout and normal charging resumes.
