Fits Oppo A1K, CPH1923, and replaces OEM battery BLP711.
Voltage runs 3.85V; capacity is 4000mAh — sufficient for full-day operation on the A1K's 6.2-inch display and Helio P35 processor.
Connector plugs directly into the motherboard slot; locking tab aligns perpendicular to the USB port.
We bench-tested the BMS against the A1K fuel gauge IC; cell voltage held steady under sustained load, and the protection circuit responded correctly to short-circuit simulation.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Oppo A1K / CPH1923 — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BLP711)

This is a 3.85V, 4000mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Oppo A1K smartphone (CPH1923). It replaces the original BLP711 cell and restores power to the display, processor, and wireless radios. Dimensions are 87.35 × 60.20 × 4.00mm — confirm your existing cell before ordering.

  • A1K / CPH1923 platform fit: The A1K and CPH1923 are the same hardware variant sold across different regions. Both use the BLP711 cell on a shared voltage rail with the same connector orientation and BMS handshake — no adapter or modification needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on the A1K board. The BMS accepted charge handoff without error flags, and protection circuits tripped correctly at the expected low-voltage cutoff threshold.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable VOOC fast charging for the first complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve accurately before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated coulomb counter.

Why the Oppo A1K shuts down suddenly at 20–30% after a battery swap

The A1K's fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge curve from the original cell. When a new cell goes in, the old curve no longer matches the actual voltage profile of the replacement. Under modem or screen load, the phone reads 25% but the cell voltage has already dropped below the safe floor — the BMS cuts power before the OS can log a low-battery event. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by a full charge resets the coulomb counter and resolves the mismatch. After that cycle, percentage readings stabilise.

VOOC fast charge not activating on the first cycle after fitting

Oppo's VOOC protocol negotiates with the battery's BMS before switching to high-current charge mode. On the first cycle with a new cell, the charge IC runs a standard 5V/1A handshake while it verifies BMS parameters — VOOC will not engage until this check passes. The phone may show a slow-charge icon even with a VOOC adapter plugged in. Let the first full charge complete at standard rate; VOOC activates normally from the second cycle onward once the charge IC has logged a valid BMS response.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Oppo A1K dies at around 25% after fitting the new battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve it learned from the degraded original cell, so the voltage cliff hits earlier than the percentage display expects. Run one full discharge to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without VOOC. After that single calibration cycle, the coulomb counter resets to the new cell's actual curve and shutdowns at 20–30% stop.

The phone won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — what happened?

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if voltage drops below approximately 2.5V the BMS locks out to prevent damage — the phone will not respond to the power button or a charger. Plug in a standard 5V charger (not VOOC) and leave it connected for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. The BMS needs a trickle current at low voltage to recover above the lockout threshold before normal charging can begin. Once the screen shows a charging indicator, the cell has cleared the lockout.

The back of the phone feels warm near the battery during the first few charges — is that normal?

A new high-impedance cell has slightly higher internal resistance than a broken-in one, which generates more heat as the charge IC pushes current through it on early cycles. This is a first-cycle characteristic, not a fault. Keep the phone out of a case during the first two or three charges to let heat dissipate freely. If the warmth is still noticeable after five full cycles, check that the battery connector is fully seated — a partially connected cell raises resistance further.
