Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Oppo N1 Mini / N5117 Series — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BLP573)
This is a 3.8V, 2100mAh Li-Polymer replacement cell for the Oppo N5117, N1 Mini, R6007, and N5111. It carries OEM part number BLP573 and matches the original cell's physical footprint at 68.66 × 57.78 × 3.62 mm. Capacity is rated at 7.98Wh.
- N5117 / N1 Mini platform compatibility: These models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and 3.8V nominal voltage rail. The BLP573 cell fits all four without modification to the connector or housing.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell on an N1 Mini unit. The BMS accepted the new cell on first connection, voltage at rest read 3.82V, and the charge IC ramped to full current without fault codes.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard current. This gives the fuel gauge IC time to map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins pushing current into an uncalibrated cell.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the BLP573 replacement cell
A fresh Li-Polymer cell has a steeper voltage-versus-capacity curve than a worn cell. When the N5117's modem fires a high-current burst during a call or data session, the cell voltage dips sharply. If the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's curve, it reads 25% but the actual cell voltage has already collapsed below the 3.4V cutoff threshold. The phone interprets this as a hard undervoltage event and shuts down. One full discharge-charge cycle resets the coulomb counter and eliminates these false cutoffs.
OS reporting wrong battery percentage after cell swap
Oppo's fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge profile from the original cell. After swapping to a new BLP573, the stored curve no longer matches the new cell's actual capacity curve, so the percentage readout jumps erratically or reads 100% before the cell is genuinely full. Drain the phone until it shuts down automatically, then charge uninterrupted to 100% with the screen off. After one full cycle the fuel gauge recalibrates against the new cell and percentage reporting stabilises.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Oppo N1 Mini won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the cell dead?
Most likely the BMS has tripped into lockout after the cell self-discharged below 2.5V during storage. Connect the phone to a wall charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button — the charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell before the BMS will re-initialise. If the charging indicator appears, let it reach at least 3.6V before booting. If no indicator appears after 45 minutes, the cell voltage has dropped below the recovery threshold and the cell will need replacing.
Fast charging stopped working the first time I plugged in after fitting the BLP573 — the phone only charges slowly now.
This is a known behaviour on the first charge cycle after a cell swap. Oppo's proprietary charge protocol performs a handshake between the charge IC and the BMS; on a new cell with no stored cycle data, the charge IC defaults to a conservative current limit until it verifies cell impedance is within range. Unplug, let the phone sit for two minutes, then reconnect. If fast charging still does not engage, complete one full standard-rate charge cycle — the charge IC re-evaluates impedance at the start of the second cycle and typically restores full current at that point.
The phone feels noticeably warm near the battery during the first few charges after fitting the new cell — is that normal?
A fresh Li-Polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a cell that has been through several cycles. During charging, higher impedance means more energy is lost as heat at the cell itself rather than stored as charge. This typically reduces after three to five charge cycles as the cell conditions and impedance drops. If the phone becomes hot to the touch rather than warm, or if the back panel deforms near the battery bay, stop charging immediately and check that the replacement cell is seated flat with no pressure on the pouch.
