Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Oppo Realme GT Neo 3 5G 2022 150W — 7.74V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BLP925)
The BLP925 is a 7.74V, 2400mAh Li-Polymer cell for the Realme GT Neo 3 5G (2022) 150W, covering model numbers RMX3562 and RMX3563. It replaces the original when the phone no longer holds charge, shuts down unexpectedly, or won't power on. Capacity is 18.58Wh — matched to the original specification.
- RMX3562 and RMX3563 fitment: Both variants share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The BLP925 cell fits both without modification — the voltage rail and NTC thermistor wiring are identical across the two SKUs.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the BLP925 through full charge and discharge cycles on RMX3562 hardware. The BMS accepted the cell without error flags, and the charge IC engaged 150W fast charge on the second cycle after the fuel gauge IC completed its first calibration pass.
- First-cycle fast charge handling on the GT Neo 3: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before 150W fast charging pushes high current into an uncalibrated cell.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Realme GT Neo 3 after a cell swap
This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity fault. The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the discharge curve of the old, degraded cell. Under heavy modem or display load, the new cell pulls the voltage down faster than the IC predicts, triggering a protective shutdown before the reported percentage reaches zero. Running one full discharge-to-shutdown cycle followed by a full charge — without interruption — lets the coulomb counter rebuild its curve against the new cell. After that cycle, shutdowns at 20–30% typically stop.
Device won't power on after the BLP925 sat in storage
Li-Polymer cells self-discharge during storage, and if the cell drops below approximately 2.5V per cell, the BMS enters lockout to prevent damage. The phone will show no response on the charge screen for up to 20 minutes after you plug in a cable — this is normal BMS recovery behaviour, not a dead battery. Use the original Oppo charger or a USB-PD source capable of at least 5V/2A for the trickle phase. Once the cell recovers to around 3.0V per cell, the BMS releases and normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Realme GT Neo 3 keeps shutting off at around 25% after I put in the new battery — is the cell faulty?
The cell is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC is still reading the discharge curve of the old, worn cell, so it misjudges how fast the new cell's voltage drops under modem and screen load. Run one uninterrupted full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without removing the cable. That single cycle rebuilds the coulomb counter against the new cell's actual curve and the early shutdowns stop.
The 150W fast charging stopped working the moment I swapped the BLP925 — the phone just slow-charges now.
On the first cycle after a cell replacement, the GT Neo 3's charge IC withholds high-current fast charge until the BMS confirms the new cell's internal resistance profile. We saw the same behaviour on the bench — 150W did not engage until the second cycle. Complete one full slow charge to 100%, then discharge and recharge normally. The 150W protocol re-engages once the BMS has logged a baseline for the new cell.
The battery percentage is jumping around erratically — going from 60% down to 45% in seconds, then back up.
This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating its internal model against the new cell's characteristics. The coulomb counter was built around the impedance and capacity curve of the original cell, so readings are unstable until it resets. Let the phone discharge from 100% to automatic shutdown in one continuous session — no top-ups mid-cycle. After that full reference cycle, the IC locks onto the correct curve and the percentage stabilises.
