Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Oppo Reno6 Pro 5G — 7.74V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BLP855)
This is a 7.74V, 2200mAh Li-Polymer battery for the Oppo Reno6 Pro 5G (PEPM00). It replaces OEM part number BLP855. Fit this battery when the original no longer holds charge, shuts down unexpectedly, or fails to power the phone.
- Reno6 Pro 5G and PEPM00 fit: Both model designations share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BLP855 BMS handshake. The flex connector locks to the same 4-pin socket on both board revisions, so no adapter or modification is needed.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a Reno6 Pro 5G board. The BMS accepted the charge IC handshake on first connection, and cell voltage held within spec across the full discharge curve without triggering BMS overcurrent cutoff.
- First-cycle fast charge protocol: On first use after installation, disable SUPERVOOC fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes into an uncalibrated coulomb counter.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Reno6 Pro 5G after a cell swap
The Reno6 Pro 5G's fuel gauge IC stores a discharge curve from the old cell. When a new cell goes in, that curve no longer matches actual cell voltage under load. The modem and AMOLED panel together pull enough current to expose the mismatch — the phone sees voltage drop below the shutdown threshold even though the percentage display still reads 20–30%. Running one full discharge to auto-off, followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%, forces the coulomb counter to resync against the new cell. After that cycle, shutdown behaviour returns to normal.
SUPERVOOC fast charging not activating on the first cycle after replacement
SUPERVOOC uses a proprietary handshake between the charge IC, BMS, and charger adapter. On a freshly installed cell, the BMS defaults to standard 5V/2A charging on the first connection while it validates cell impedance. This is not a fault — it is protective behaviour. Unplug the charger, wait 10 seconds, and reconnect. If SUPERVOOC still does not activate after the first full charge cycle, check that the original Oppo 65W adapter is in use, as third-party adapters will not initiate the protocol.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Reno6 Pro 5G powers off at around 25% after fitting the new battery — is the battery faulty?
It is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC on the Reno6 Pro 5G is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve, so it misreads the new cell's voltage under modem and screen load and triggers shutdown early. Run the phone down to automatic power-off, then charge it to 100% in one uninterrupted session. One full cycle is usually enough to resync the coulomb counter and stop the early cutoffs.
The battery percentage jumps around erratically — it reads 60%, then suddenly drops to 40% without the phone being used much.
Erratic percentage readings are a fuel gauge IC recalibration issue, not a defective cell. The Snapdragon-based power management on the Reno6 Pro 5G tracks charge state against a stored cell profile. A new cell with different impedance characteristics causes the IC to mis-estimate state of charge until it builds a fresh profile. Disable fast charging, run two complete discharge-to-auto-off and full-charge cycles, and the percentage readings will stabilise as the fuel gauge relearns the cell curve.
The phone gets noticeably warm near the bottom-left of the back panel while charging the new battery — is this normal?
Some warmth during the first few charges is expected. A new Li-Polymer cell has slightly higher internal impedance than a worn cell, which means the charge IC dissipates more energy as heat while driving current into it. That warmth reduces after the first three to five charge cycles as the cell forms. If the phone becomes too hot to hold comfortably or charging stops and restarts repeatedly, check that you are using the original Oppo adapter — third-party chargers can send unregulated current that the BMS will reject, causing thermal spikes.
