Fits Oppo Reno8 Pro+ and PFZM10 model, replacing OEM part BLP929.
Supplies 7.74V at 2200mAh capacity, delivering 17.03Wh total energy for full processor and display demand.
Li-Polymer cell uses internal connector match with the original — physical fit confirmed on slot and orientation.
Bench test showed clean BMS handshake on insertion; voltage held steady under load with no early cutoff.
On first charge after installation, disable fast charging for one full discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Oppo Reno8 Pro+ — 7.74V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BLP929)

This is a 7.74V, 2200mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Oppo Reno8 Pro+ (PFZM10). It replaces OEM part BLP929 directly. Fit this when the original cell has degraded, holds little charge, or fails to power the phone at all.

  • Reno8 Pro+ and PFZM10 compatibility: Both model designations share the same chassis, BLP929 connector pinout, and charge IC handshake. The BMS communicates with the Oppo charge controller over the same protocol, so no firmware mismatch occurs on either variant.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through a full discharge-charge sequence on a Reno8 Pro+ unit. The BMS accepted the charge IC handshake on the first cycle, and the fuel gauge IC began tracking capacity correctly after one complete cycle without intervention.
  • First-cycle fast charge behaviour: On first use after installation, disable SUPERVOOC fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current fast charging pushes load into an uncalibrated state.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

A new cell has a different discharge curve than the worn cell the fuel gauge IC was originally calibrated against. When the phone hits a voltage point that the old curve mapped to 20–30%, the new cell may actually be near its minimum sustainable voltage under modem or display load. The charge controller sees a voltage cliff and shuts the phone down before the OS registers 0%. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by a complete charge cycle resets the coulomb counter and eliminates this behaviour.

SUPERVOOC fast charge not activating after replacement

Oppo's SUPERVOOC protocol requires the charge IC to authenticate with the battery BMS before allowing high-current delivery. On a new cell, this handshake occasionally fails on the first cycle because the BMS has not yet completed its initialisation sequence. Plug in using the original Oppo cable and adapter, let the phone charge to 100% on standard charge, then unplug and replug — SUPERVOOC will activate once the BMS has completed one full cycle and the handshake registers correctly.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Reno8 Pro+ shuts off at around 25% battery — is the replacement cell faulty?

This is a fuel gauge IC calibration issue, not a defective cell. The coulomb counter in the phone was calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve, and the new cell hits a voltage cliff at a different state of charge than the IC expects. Run one complete cycle — drain the phone fully to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — and the fuel gauge will recalibrate. Shutdowns at partial charge stop after that cycle.

The battery percentage on my Reno8 Pro+ keeps jumping around erratically after fitting this battery — what's causing it?

Erratic percentage jumps happen because the fuel gauge IC is still using its stored discharge model from the old cell. The coulomb counter has not yet mapped the new cell's voltage-to-capacity curve. This corrects itself after one full discharge-to-shutdown and uninterrupted charge to 100%. After that cycle the IC locks onto the new curve and percentage readings stabilise.

The phone won't turn on after the new battery sat in the drawer for a few months before I fitted it — what do I do?

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell dropped below approximately 2.5V per cell the BMS will have entered lockout to prevent damage. Plug in the Oppo charger and leave the phone connected for at least 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button — the charge IC will trickle current into the cell until it clears the BMS lockout threshold. Once voltage recovers above 3.0V per cell the BMS releases and the phone will power on normally.
