Fits Orange Rise 30 and 4013X-2ARGPL3 models; replaces OEM battery CS-OT405XL.
3.7V, 1300mAh lithium-ion cell delivers 4.81Wh to the Rise 30 modem and display subsystem.
Connector slides into the factory slot; locking tab seats flush against the battery clip.
We bench-tested this cell on a Rise 30 charge cycle — BMS accepted input and held voltage under standby load.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Orange Rise 30 (4013X-2ARGPL3) — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V, 1300mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Orange Rise 30 smartphone (model 4013X-2ARGPL3). It slots into the same bay as the original cell and connects to the same charge IC and fuel gauge circuitry. Capacity is 4.81Wh — matching the original spec to keep the OS power model consistent.

  • Rise 30 / 4013X-2ARGPL3 platform fit: Both model references share the same PCB layout, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell covers both variants — no adapter or wiring change needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the Rise 30 platform. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, and charge termination triggered cleanly at 4.2V.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's actual discharge curve before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This is a voltage cliff issue. A new cell's discharge curve differs slightly from the degraded original, so the fuel gauge IC's stored model no longer predicts voltage drop accurately. Under screen or modem load, the cell voltage dips below the BMS cutoff threshold before the percentage counter reaches zero. Running one full discharge-charge cycle without fast charging forces the coulomb counter to relearn the curve. After that cycle, shutdowns at false percentages typically stop.

OS reporting wrong battery percentage after cell swap

The fuel gauge IC on the Rise 30 stores a learned discharge model tied to the old cell's impedance and capacity curve. When a new cell goes in, that stored model is stale — the IC reports percentages against the wrong reference. The fix is one complete discharge down to auto-shutdown, followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%. After this single cycle, the coulomb counter resets its baseline to the new cell and percentage readouts stabilise.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Orange Rise 30 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the cell dead?

Almost certainly not dead — the BMS has tripped into lockout because the cell self-discharged below 2.5V during storage. Connect the phone to a wall charger, not a PC USB port, and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. Most BMS circuits on the Rise 30 platform will begin a trickle pre-charge to bring the cell back above the lockout threshold, after which the phone powers on normally. If the charge LED never lights, try a different cable before assuming cell failure.

Fast charging stopped working the first time I plugged in after fitting the new battery — it only charges slowly now.

The Rise 30's charge IC runs a handshake with the battery's BMS on the first connection to verify the cell. On some replacement cells, this handshake defaults the charger to standard 5V charging rather than the higher-voltage fast-charge mode until one full cycle is logged. Complete one standard charge to 100% and one full discharge, then reconnect a fast charger. The protocol negotiation re-runs with the calibrated cell data and fast charge resumes at the correct rate.

The battery percentage on my Rise 30 is jumping around erratically — going up and down without me doing anything.

Erratic percentage jumps are the fuel gauge IC actively recalibrating after a cell swap — it is sampling the new cell's voltage response under varying load and has not yet built a stable discharge model. This is normal for the first two to three charge cycles and not a sign of a faulty cell. Run two complete discharge-charge cycles without fast charging to let the coulomb counter settle. By the third cycle, percentage readings should track smoothly without unexpected jumps.
