Fits Orange SPV M3000 smartphone, replaces OEM part number WIZA16.
3.7V and 2350mAh capacity matches the original cell output for standard processor, display, and modem draw on this device.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with no locking tab — ensure the contact points face upward before closing the cover.
We cycled this cell on a benched SPV M3000 unit; the BMS accepted charge without fault codes and held voltage under active modem load.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Orange SPV M3000 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (WIZA16)

This is a 3.7V, 2350mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Orange SPV M3000 smartphone. It replaces OEM part WIZA16. The cell restores power to the processor, display, and radio stack when the original battery has degraded or failed.

  • SPV M3000 fit: The M3000 uses a single-cell 3.7V Li-ion pack with a three-contact connector that carries both charge and fuel gauge data. This replacement matches that connector layout and cell voltage, so the phone's charge IC accepts it without flagging a hardware mismatch.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the M3000's charge IC and monitored BMS handshake at insertion. The protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage threshold and resumed charge acceptance after a standard recovery pulse — no anomalies.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable any fast-charge accessory and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the M3000's fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before it starts reporting accurate percentages.

Why the SPV M3000 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The M3000 stores a learned discharge curve for the original cell inside its fuel gauge IC. When a new cell goes in, that curve no longer matches the actual cell chemistry, so the reported percentage drifts — sometimes by 15–25 points. The IC needs a full discharge and recharge cycle to rewrite its reference data. Until that cycle completes, readings will be unreliable. Run the phone down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% to reset the calibration.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity issue. Under peak load — modem activity, screen at full brightness, or GPS active — the cell voltage drops sharply. If it dips below the BMS cutoff threshold, the phone shuts off even though the fuel gauge still shows charge remaining. The original cell had a lower internal resistance after break-in; a fresh cell has slightly higher impedance until it completes a few cycles. Run three full discharge-charge cycles and the shutdown threshold will stabilise around 3.4V under load.

Frequently Asked Questions

The M3000 powered off at around 25% and now it won't turn back on — is the battery dead?

Not dead — the BMS has triggered a low-voltage lockout. Under modem or screen load, the cell voltage sags below the protection threshold even when the fuel gauge still shows charge. Plug the phone into a wall charger and leave it for 20 minutes before attempting to power on. If the charge IC accepts current, the cell will recover; the lockout clears once cell voltage climbs back above 3.0V.

The battery percentage is jumping around — it showed 60%, then jumped to 35% in two minutes without heavy use. What's happening?

The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. The new cell has a slightly different voltage-to-capacity profile, so the IC misreads state of charge and corrects itself in sudden jumps. Run one complete discharge to automatic shutdown followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%. After that single full cycle, the IC rewrites its reference curve and percentage reporting stabilises.

Fast charging stopped working after I fitted the replacement battery — my original charger now just trickle charges the M3000. Why?

On the first insertion cycle, the charge IC treats the new BMS as unverified and defaults to a low-current safe-charge profile. This is normal behaviour — the IC is confirming cell impedance before allowing higher current. Run the phone through one full charge at the reduced rate. On the second cycle, the IC recognises the cell's impedance signature and restores normal charge current. If it still trickle charges after two full cycles, check that the charger output is steady at 5V with no voltage drop at the cable connector.
