Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Panoramic 2690 — 14.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery
This is a 14.8V, 3000mAh Li-ion battery pack for the Panoramic 2690 cordless vacuum cleaner. It replaces the original battery pack when the existing cells no longer hold enough charge to complete a cleaning session. Voltage and connector match the 2690's motor and charging circuit.
- Panoramic 2690 fitment: The 2690 runs a 14.8V four-cell Li-ion configuration tied directly to the motor controller. Any replacement must match that nominal voltage exactly — a mismatched pack will either fail to power on or trip the vacuum's internal protection circuit before the motor reaches full speed.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through repeated charge and discharge passes while monitoring BMS response under motor-start load. The protection circuit handled inrush current without nuisance tripping and held stable voltage through the discharge curve.
- Dock charging on the 2690: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock after the pack is full. The 2690 dock does not terminate charge aggressively — cells left on continuous trickle charge develop capacity fade faster than cells charged only when depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the 2690
This happens when the motor is drawing more current than the pack's voltage can sustain under load. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder, pulling current well above the rated draw and causing voltage to sag earlier in the discharge cycle. The vacuum loses suction noticeably even though the indicator still shows charge remaining. Clear the filter first — if sag continues on a clean filter, the original battery's cells have degraded below usable capacity and replacement is the fix.
Motor cuts out mid-session then recovers after a short pause
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked filter, clogged brush roll, or sealed nozzle — the motor draws a sustained spike that crosses the pack's overcurrent threshold. The BMS cuts power to protect the cells, then resets after a brief cooldown. Clear any blockage before the next session, then check that the filter is clean and seated correctly. If the trip recurs on an unblocked vacuum, verify the replacement pack's overcurrent rating matches the 2690's motor spec at 14.8V.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Panoramic 2690 has noticeably less suction than it used to, even on a clean filter — is the battery causing this?
Yes, a degraded battery pack is a direct cause. As Li-ion cells age, internal resistance rises and the pack can no longer sustain the voltage the motor needs under load — suction drops even though the vacuum runs. A new 14.8V, 3000mAh pack restores the voltage headroom the motor requires. Fit the replacement and run a full charge cycle before testing.
The 2690 motor keeps cutting out and restarting on its own — what's triggering that?
The BMS inside the battery pack is tripping on an overcurrent spike. This happens when the motor draws a sustained high-current load — most often from a blocked filter or tangled brush roll pushing draw above the pack's rated threshold. The BMS cuts output, the motor stops, then the BMS resets and the motor restarts. Clear the filter and brush roll completely, then confirm the obstruction is gone before running again.
I charged the replacement battery fully but my 2690 seems to lose charge much faster than expected — what's happening?
A partially blocked filter is the most common cause. Restricted airflow forces the motor to draw more current than rated throughout the entire run, draining the pack faster than the vacuum's indicator is calibrated to show. Remove, clean, and reseat the filter, then run a full discharge-to-charge cycle from flat to full at around 16.7V charge termination. If drain rate stays abnormally high after that, check that the charger is fully seating and terminating correctly on the new pack.
