Fits Poly Savi 7200, Savi 7200 Office, Savi 7210 Office, and Savi 7220 Office headsets as a direct replacement cell.
Delivers 3.7V and 240mAh capacity — sufficient for a full workday of calls on DECT wireless without midday top-ups.
Connector slides into the battery slot with a friction lock; no adhesive or tools needed for installation or removal.
We bench-tested this cell on a Savi 7200 base station — BMS accepted the handshake on first insertion and charged to full in under two hours.
On first use, charge the headset in the base station for one complete cycle before taking calls — DECT systems require the base to log the new cell before talk-time estimates stabilize.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Poly Savi 7200 Series — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery

This 3.7V, 240mAh (0.89Wh) lithium-polymer cell replaces the internal battery in the Poly Savi 7200, Savi 7200 Office, Savi 7210 Office, and Savi 7220 Office DECT wireless headsets. The original cell degrades over time, cutting talk time short before the workday ends. This replacement restores the headset to normal operation at the correct voltage and capacity.

  • Savi 7200 series fit: The 7200, 7200 Office, 7210 Office, and 7220 Office share the same headset housing, connector pinout, and 3.7V cell format. The BMS handshake runs through the same charge circuit across all four variants, so one cell fits the entire group.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the Savi base station charge circuit and confirmed BMS communication, correct charge termination, and stable voltage under combined DECT radio and audio draw without premature cutoff.
  • First-cycle base station protocol: Seat the headset in the base station and allow a complete uninterrupted charge cycle before taking a call. The DECT base logs the new cell during this cycle — skipping it causes the talk-time indicator to read inaccurately for several sessions.

Why the Savi 7200 cuts out mid-call even with a new battery seated

The Savi 7200 draws current from two sources simultaneously — the audio codec and the DECT radio. Under sustained combined load, a cell that has not completed its first full charge cycle can sag below the BMS cutoff threshold, dropping the headset off the call. This is not a fault with the cell itself. A complete first charge from the base station brings the cell to 4.2V and allows the BMS to set its low-voltage floor correctly. After one full cycle, mid-call dropout caused by voltage sag resolves.

Base station shows full charge but headset stops working after a few minutes

A replacement cell ships at storage voltage — typically around 3.6–3.7V — not at full charge. If the base station LED cycles to green quickly, it has read the incoming voltage as near-full and terminated charge early. The cell is not actually at capacity. Place the headset back in the base and leave it for a full charge cycle — most Savi bases take approximately 90 minutes to reach true termination from storage voltage. Once the cell reaches 4.2V and the base terminates correctly, runtime returns to rated capacity.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Savi 7200 headset is warm after long calls — is the new battery causing this?

The Savi 7200 housing is compact, and the combined draw from the DECT radio and audio circuit generates heat in a small space. A warm headset after extended calls is normal behaviour under sustained load — it is not a sign of a faulty cell. If the headset becomes hot enough to be uncomfortable, check that the base station is charging at the correct voltage and that charge termination is completing at 4.2V. Reducing continuous call length allows the housing to dissipate heat between sessions.

Talk time is noticeably shorter than expected for the first few days after fitting the new battery — is something wrong?

Nothing is wrong. Li-polymer cells at this capacity need three to five full charge-discharge cycles before they reach rated capacity. On the first cycle, the cell's internal resistance is slightly higher, which limits how much charge the BMS accepts. Each subsequent full cycle through the Savi base station lowers that resistance incrementally. By cycle four or five, talk time will be at or close to the rated 0.89Wh capacity.

The base station is flashing a charging error after I fitted the replacement battery — what does that mean?

A charging error on the Savi base usually means the BMS handshake between the headset and base did not complete. This happens when the cell voltage is outside the base's expected intake range, or when the headset was reseated before the previous charge cycle finished. Remove the headset from the base, wait 10 seconds, and reseat it firmly. If the error persists, confirm the cell connector is fully seated inside the headset — a partial connection breaks the BMS communication line and the base will not initiate charge.
