Fits Prestigio MultiPhone 3400 Duo smartphone, replaces OEM part number PAP3400 DUO.
3.7V, 1500mAh lithium-ion cell delivers 5.55Wh to restore full talk and standby time.
Connector slides into original battery slot with standard polarity alignment and plastic retention clip.
Bench testing showed clean BMS handshake on first insertion; fuel gauge IC required one full cycle to recalibrate discharge curve against the new cell.
On first charge after installation, disable any fast-charge mode for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against this cell's discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Prestigio MultiPhone 3400 Duo — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (PAP3400 DUO)

This is a 3.7V, 1500mAh Li-ion cell for the Prestigio MultiPhone 3400 Duo smartphone. It replaces the original PAP3400 DUO battery when the existing cell no longer holds a usable charge across calls, messaging, and app use. Dimensions are 76.00 x 50.00 x 4.02mm — confirm against your existing cell before fitting.

  • MultiPhone 3400 Duo fitment: The 3400 Duo runs a dual-SIM modem stack that draws current from both radios simultaneously. This cell matches the voltage rail and physical connector the board expects — no rewiring or adapter needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and load on the bench. The BMS held cutoff correctly at both ends of the voltage range and did not trip under combined modem and display load.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter to the new cell's actual discharge curve before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the MultiPhone 3400 Duo

This happens when the cell cannot sustain voltage under simultaneous modem and screen load — both SIM radios spike current draw at the same moment and the cell voltage dips below the BMS cutoff threshold before the fuel gauge reads zero. It is a voltage cliff, not a capacity problem. A new cell with a full charge cycle completed will hold voltage through those spikes. If it persists after one full cycle, check that neither SIM slot is forcing a 2G fallback, which increases radio transmit power significantly.

Phone reporting wrong battery percentage after fitting the new cell

The fuel gauge IC on the 3400 Duo stores a learned discharge curve from the old cell in its coulomb counter. When you fit a new cell, that stored curve no longer matches the actual cell chemistry, so the percentage readout drifts — often reading full when the cell is at 70%, or dropping suddenly. Run one complete discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without unplugging early. That single cycle rewrites the fuel gauge reference and the percentage display stabilises.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Prestigio MultiPhone 3400 Duo won't turn on at all after sitting unused for a few months — is the new battery dead?

It is not dead. A cell discharged below approximately 2.5V in storage triggers a BMS lockout — the protection circuit disconnects the cell to prevent damage, and the phone cannot boot. Plug the phone into a wall charger, not a USB port, and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until voltage recovers above the BMS re-enable threshold, after which the phone will boot normally.

Fast charging stopped working the first time I charged the replacement battery — the phone just charges slowly now.

This is normal on the first cycle. The new BMS has not yet completed a handshake with the phone's charge IC, so the charge controller defaults to a lower safe current rather than accepting the higher charge rate. Complete one full charge to 100% at the slow rate without interrupting it. On the second charge cycle, the BMS and charge IC complete their negotiation and the higher charge current resumes — check the charging indicator on the second cycle to confirm.

The battery percentage on my MultiPhone 3400 Duo keeps jumping around erratically — it jumped from 45% to 12% in two minutes.

The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve and the jumps reflect that mismatch, not a faulty cell. Do not top up the charge mid-cycle during this period — partial charging prevents the IC from completing a full reference sweep. Let the phone discharge to automatic shutdown, then charge in one uninterrupted session to 100%. The percentage readout will stabilise once the IC has a full discharge curve logged against the new cell.
