Proscenic 790T / SUMMER P1S Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BONA18650-AA)

This is a 14.4V Li-ion battery pack rated at 3000mAh (43.2Wh), built to fit the Proscenic 790T and related cordless stick vacuums. It replaces packs that no longer hold charge or drop suction early in a cleaning run. Fit models include the 790T, SUMMER P1S, P1, and P2, among others sharing the same voltage rail and connector.

• 790T and P-series platform compatibility: These models share a 14.4V architecture, the same physical connector, and a BMS handshake protocol — that is why one pack covers all of them. Swapping between models in this family does not require any adapter.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the 790T motor platform. The BMS held steady across sustained suction loads and tripped correctly when we simulated a blocked filter — no false cutoffs during normal operation.
• Dock charging habit on the 790T: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock between uses. Continuous dock contact pushes a trickle current through the cells even at full charge, accelerating capacity fade. Charge fully, then remove it from the dock until the next use.

Cordless vacuum losing suction before battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the motor is drawing more current than the BMS expects — usually because a clogged filter forces the motor to work harder at the same fan speed. The increased draw causes voltage to sag under load, and the BMS reads that sag as a low-cell condition and throttles output. The indicator shows mid-charge because it measures resting voltage, not load voltage. Clean or replace the filter first; if suction stabilises, the battery is not the root cause.

Motor cuts out and then recovers on its own mid-clean

This is an overcurrent trip — the BMS detects a spike above its rated threshold and cuts power to protect the cells. It resets automatically after a few seconds, which is why the vacuum seems to restart on its own. The most common trigger is a partial blockage in the brush head or hose creating sustained restricted suction. Clear the blockage and verify the filter is clean; if the cut-outs stop, the cells are sound and the BMS is functioning as intended.
