Fits Proscenic 850T and 850P cordless stick vacuums replacing OEM part CMICR18650F8M7-4S1P.
14.8V and 3400mAh delivers 50.32Wh to sustain motor torque on carpet without premature throttling.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a single locking tab that seats flush.
We ran full discharge cycles on the vacuum motor at standard suction — BMS held steady, no cutoff anomalies detected.
Do not leave this pack on the charging dock after reaching full charge; continuous trickle charging degrades the cell stack capacity faster than charge-and-remove cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Proscenic 850T / 850P — 14.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (CMICR18650F8M7-4S1P)

This is a 14.8V, 3400mAh Li-ion battery pack for the Proscenic 850T and 850P cordless stick vacuums. It replaces part number CMICR18650F8M7-4S1P and fits directly into the battery slot on both models. Capacity is 50.32Wh — matched to the original specification.

  • 850T and 850P compatibility: Both models run the same 14.8V four-cell series configuration and share an identical battery housing and connector. The BMS handshake protocol is the same across both, so one cell pack covers the full range.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through motor-start loads on the 850T platform. The BMS held steady through sustained suction cycles and cut off cleanly at the low-voltage threshold without nuisance tripping under normal floor cleaning draws.
  • Dock charging habit on the 850T: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock continuously. Cordless vacuums held on trickle charge develop measurable capacity fade faster than those removed from the dock once fully charged. Charge to full, then disconnect.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

The 850T's motor controller pulls more current when airflow is restricted — a partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder, which pulls the cell voltage down faster than the indicator expects. The indicator reads state-of-charge, not load-adjusted voltage, so it can still show mid-range while suction has already degraded. This is not a battery fault. Clean or replace the filter and retest — suction recovery under a clean filter confirms the cells are fine. If suction still drops with a clean filter, check the voltage under load; a healthy pack holds above 13.5V during normal operation.

Motor cuts out mid-clean and then restarts after a pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the 850T's brush roll or intake is partially blocked, sustained restricted airflow causes motor current to spike beyond the BMS protection threshold — the pack shuts output to prevent cell damage. After a short rest, voltage recovers and the BMS resets, which is why the vacuum powers back on. The fix is to clear the blockage: check the brush roll for hair wrap and inspect the filter for loading. If the motor cuts out on a clean, unblocked vacuum, measure resting pack voltage — it should read 16.4V after a full charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Proscenic 850T loses suction halfway through a clean but the battery light still shows full — is the battery faulty?

This is usually a filter restriction issue, not a battery fault. A clogged filter forces the motor to draw more current, which pulls cell voltage down under load faster than the indicator tracks — the indicator reads stored charge, not real-time load voltage. Clean or replace the filter first and retest. If suction holds with a clean filter, the battery is working correctly.

The vacuum motor cuts out during cleaning, then works again after I wait a minute — what's causing that?

That behaviour is a BMS overcurrent trip. When airflow is blocked — hair wrapped around the brush roll or a loaded filter — the motor current spikes and the BMS shuts the pack down to protect the cells. After a short rest, the BMS resets and the vacuum powers on again. Clear the brush roll and clean the filter, then retest; if the cutout stops, the pack is fine.

After fitting the replacement battery, my 850T won't charge — the charger light just flashes and nothing happens.

A flashing charger light on the 850T typically means the charger is not completing its BMS handshake with the pack. This can happen if the pack was shipped in a deep-discharge state. Connect the charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes — the BMS on deeply discharged Li-ion packs often needs a brief trickle phase before it signals the charger to begin a full charge cycle. If the light stabilises and charging begins, let it run to full. If the charger still flashes after 30 minutes, measure pack voltage at the terminals — a reading below 10V indicates a cell has dropped too low to recover.
