Fits Proscenic Pro806 cordless vacuum, replaces OEM battery pack CS-IFC200VX.
14.4V Ni-MH chemistry with 2800mAh capacity delivers stable motor voltage under sustained suction loads.
Slides vertically into the handle dock with single-tab locking mechanism; connector seats flush against motor circuit board.
Bench testing confirmed BMS accepts charge cycles without voltage drift; motor draws peak current cleanly during high-pile carpet operation.
Do not leave this Ni-MH pack on the charging dock continuously after reaching full charge — trickle current degrades capacity over weeks, so remove once charged and charge only when depleted.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Proscenic Pro806 — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V, 2800mAh Ni-MH battery pack for the Proscenic Pro806 cordless stick vacuum. It replaces the original pack when suction power drops or the vacuum no longer holds a charge. Voltage and cell chemistry match the factory specification exactly.

  • Pro806 platform fit: The Pro806 motor runs on a 14.4V rail. The connector and cell arrangement in this pack match that rail directly. No adapter or wiring modification is needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the Pro806 platform. The BMS held within the expected voltage window across the full discharge curve, and the vacuum's motor drew current without triggering cutoff under normal suction load.
  • Dock charging habit on the Pro806: Do not leave the Pro806 sitting on the charging dock continuously. Ni-MH cells on trickle charge develop capacity fade faster than cells charged only when depleted. Charge to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

Ni-MH cells show a flatter discharge curve than Li-ion, but they still sag under sustained high-draw loads. On the Pro806, a partially blocked filter forces the motor to pull more current than rated. That extra draw drags cell voltage down early, and suction weakens before the indicator flags a low battery. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers and holds, the battery is not the problem. If the pack still sags under a clean filter, the cells have aged past useful capacity.

Motor cutting out mid-use then recovering after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction airflow is restricted — blocked filter, clogged brush roll, or a sustained hard-floor-to-carpet transition — current spikes above the BMS threshold and the pack disconnects to protect the cells. The pack recovers once it cools slightly, which is why the vacuum restarts after a pause. Clear the blockage and check the filter before assuming the battery is faulty. If trips continue on a clean machine, measure pack voltage at rest — a healthy charged Ni-MH pack at 14.4V nominal should read above 16V immediately off charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Pro806 loses suction well before it feels like the battery should be flat — what's happening?

A restricted filter is the most common cause. When airflow is blocked, the motor works harder and pulls more current than rated, dragging cell voltage down early even though capacity is not fully used. Clean or replace the filter and run the vacuum again — if suction holds longer, the filter was the problem. If it still drops early on a clean filter, the Ni-MH cells have degraded and the pack needs replacing.

The Pro806 motor cuts out for a few seconds then comes back on its own — is this the battery failing?

Not necessarily. That cut-and-recover pattern is the BMS tripping on a current spike, then resetting once the cells cool slightly. It usually happens when the brush roll is tangled or the filter is partially blocked, forcing the motor to draw above the BMS cutoff threshold. Clear the brush roll and check the filter before replacing the battery. If the trips stop after clearing the blockage, the pack is fine.

My replacement battery charges fully but the Pro806 runs noticeably less than it used to — why?

A new Ni-MH pack typically needs three to five full charge-discharge cycles before it reaches rated capacity. If you have been leaving the vacuum on the dock continuously, trickle charge will have already started degrading the new cells. Remove the vacuum from the dock as soon as it is fully charged, run it until suction noticeably weakens, then charge again. Repeat this for several cycles and capacity should stabilise close to the rated 2800mAh.
