Fits RobZone Robee Plus robotic vacuum cleaners; replaces OEM battery pack CS-IRB400VX.
14.4V, 2000mAh Ni-MH chemistry delivers 28.8Wh to sustain motor draw on carpeted floors.
Connector type and orientation match OEM housing; verify locking tab seats fully before operation.
We tested the BMS response under motor load and confirmed stable voltage delivery under suction resistance.
Remove this battery from the charging dock immediately after reaching full charge — continuous dock contact causes Ni-MH capacity fade in cordless vacuums.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

RobZone Robee Plus — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V, 2000mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the RobZone Robee Plus robotic vacuum cleaner. It powers the motor, brush system, and navigation electronics. Fits the Robee Plus directly — verify your model before ordering.

  • Robee Plus motor and drive system: The Robee Plus runs its suction motor and wheel drive off the same 14.4V rail. A degraded cell causes voltage sag under load — the motor slows before the battery indicator reads low. This cell matches the original voltage and capacity spec to keep that from happening.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery through repeated charge and load discharge sequences. The BMS held within expected cutoff thresholds and the pack recovered cleanly from deep discharge without requiring a manual reset.
  • Dock charging behaviour on Ni-MH: Do not leave the Robee Plus sitting on the charging dock indefinitely. Ni-MH cells are sensitive to continuous trickle charge — charging to full and removing the unit from the dock prevents accelerated capacity fade over time.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when cell voltage sags under motor load before the battery is actually depleted. A clogged filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which drops cell voltage faster and triggers the BMS to reduce output. The result looks like a weak battery even on a fresh charge. Clean the filter first — if suction recovers, the battery is fine. If the pack is genuinely degraded, resting cell voltage under no load should read above 13.5V on a full charge.

Motor cuts out mid-cycle and then recovers on its own

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a battery failure. When suction is restricted — blocked brush roll, clogged filter, or hair wrap — the motor strains and draws a sustained current spike. The BMS cuts the circuit to protect the cells, then resets once current drops. Clear the obstruction and restart the unit. If the trip keeps happening on a clear brush with a new battery, the motor itself may be drawing above spec and needs inspection.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Robee Plus charges fully but the suction feels weaker than it used to be — is that the battery or something else?

A partially blocked filter is the most common cause. It makes the motor work harder than rated, which draws more current and causes voltage sag even from a healthy pack. Remove and clean the filter, then run the vacuum again. If suction returns to normal, the battery is not the issue — if it stays weak on a clean filter, the pack has likely lost usable capacity and replacement is the fix.

The Robee Plus keeps stopping mid-clean and restarting itself — what's triggering that?

That's the BMS tripping on an overcurrent spike, usually caused by a tangled brush roll or restricted airflow forcing the motor to strain. The BMS cuts output to protect the cells, then resets automatically when current normalises. Check the brush roll for hair wrap and the filter for blockage before assuming the battery is faulty. If it still trips with everything clear, measure resting pack voltage — a cell below 12.5V on a full charge indicates a degraded pack.

I replaced the battery but the Robee Plus won't charge — the dock light just blinks or stays off.

Some robotic vacuum chargers communicate with the battery BMS before initiating a charge cycle. If the new pack has been stored in a deeply discharged state, the BMS may not respond to the charger handshake. Place the vacuum on the dock for 30 minutes with no response, then remove it, leave it off the dock for five minutes, and retry. If charging still does not begin, measure voltage at the dock pins — they should output a steady 16–18V to confirm the dock itself is functional.
