Fits RobZone Robee Plus robotic vacuum cleaners replacing the OEM 14.4V Ni-MH battery pack.
14.4V at 4000mAh delivers the voltage and capacity your Robee Plus motor requires for full suction and brush rotation during cleaning cycles.
Connector slides into the battery dock on the underside of the vacuum unit with a positive-first orientation and latches flush against the housing.
We bench-tested this Ni-MH pack across multiple charge cycles; the BMS accepted full voltage without cutoff and discharged steadily under motor load without voltage sag.
Do not leave the vacuum on the charging dock continuously after reaching full charge — cordless vacuums develop capacity fade faster under permanent trickle charge, so remove from dock when full.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

RobZone Robee Plus — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V, 4000mAh Nickel-Metal Hydride replacement battery for the RobZone Robee Plus robotic vacuum cleaner. It fits directly into the Robee Plus and restores power to the drive motor and cleaning mechanisms. Capacity figure is taken from the product specification — 57.6Wh total energy.

  • Robee Plus compatibility: The Robee Plus runs a 14.4V motor rail with a connector and cell arrangement matched to this pack. Voltage, physical dimensions (179 × 51 × 52mm), and cell count all align with the original unit's bay and BMS communication requirements.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through full charge and discharge on a Robee Plus unit, monitoring BMS cutoff behaviour under simulated floor-cleaning load. The protection circuit held voltage within expected thresholds and did not trip under normal motor-start draw.
  • Dock charging discipline on the Robee Plus: Do not leave the Robee Plus sitting on the dock continuously between uses. Ni-MH cells in robotic vacuums develop capacity fade faster under constant trickle charge than when charged only on depletion. Charge fully, then remove from the dock until the next cleaning run.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

Ni-MH packs show a characteristic voltage sag when the motor draws sustained current against a restriction — a partially blocked filter is the most common cause on the Robee Plus. The motor pulls above its rated current to maintain suction, which causes cell voltage to drop faster than the indicator circuit expects. The vacuum loses suction performance while the indicator still reads mid-charge because the indicator tracks time or open-circuit voltage, not loaded cell voltage. Clear the filter and check the brush roll for tangled debris before assuming the battery is the cause.

Motor cuts out mid-run and then recovers after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead cell. When the Robee Plus encounters a blockage or a clogged filter, airflow restriction causes the motor to draw a spike of current that exceeds the pack's protection threshold. The BMS shuts down the output rail and resets after the load is removed — which is why the vacuum appears to recover after sitting still for a few seconds. Fix the restriction first: remove the filter, tap it clean, and check the intake path before placing the replacement battery under the same load condition.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Robee Plus seems to run for a much shorter time than it used to — is this a battery fault or something else?

A blocked or degraded filter is the most common cause before the battery is blamed. Restricted airflow forces the motor to draw more current than rated, draining the Ni-MH pack faster than normal. Before replacing the battery, remove the filter, clean it thoroughly, and run a full charge-discharge cycle. If runtime remains short after that, the cells have likely faded and replacement is the correct fix.

The Robee Plus won't charge after I installed the replacement battery — charger light stays off or flashes incorrectly.

Some robotic vacuum chargers send a low-current probe signal before committing to a full charge cycle, and a deeply discharged Ni-MH pack can read as absent to that probe. Leave the vacuum on the dock for 20–30 minutes without interruption — the charger may recover the pack once it detects a minimum voltage response. If the charge light still does not settle into a normal charging state after that period, measure the pack voltage at the contacts; a reading below 10V indicates the cells need a recovery charge before the dock charger will engage fully.

My Robee Plus battery faded quickly after buying a replacement — it seemed fine at first, then capacity dropped fast within a few weeks.

Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of early capacity fade in Ni-MH robotic vacuum batteries. Leaving the Robee Plus on the dock between every run subjects the cells to a constant low-level charge current, which degrades Ni-MH chemistry significantly faster than charge-on-depletion cycling. Charge the pack fully, remove the vacuum from the dock, and return it only when the battery is depleted. This single change is the most effective way to slow Ni-MH capacity fade on the Robee Plus.
