Fits Schneide 10 AGS, AGS 65, AGS10, and AGS65 cordless vacuum cleaners with 4.8V battery slot.
4.8V 2000mAh Ni-MH pack restores full motor voltage and cleaning power to handheld and stick models.
Battery slides into vertical charge dock slot with flat connector — polarity marked on pack housing.
We bench-tested this cell in the AGS10 dock; BMS accepted charge without fault codes, voltage held steady.
Do not leave the vacuum on the charging dock after reaching full charge — continuous dock power causes rapid capacity fade in Ni-MH chemistry; remove and store unplugged until next use.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Schneide 10 AGS / AGS 65 Series — 4.8V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 4.8V 2000mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Schneide cordless vacuum range. It fits the 10 AGS, AGS 65, AGS10, and AGS65 handheld and stick vacuum models. Dimensions are 86.50 × 45.34 × 22.50mm — confirm against your existing pack before ordering.

  • AGS series compatibility: The 10 AGS, AGS10, AGS 65, and AGS65 all run the same 4.8V cell configuration with a shared connector footprint. That common voltage rail and pack geometry is why one replacement covers all four model designations without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on the bench. The Ni-MH cells held steady voltage across the discharge curve, and the BMS did not trip under the sustained low-current draw typical of these vacuum motors.
  • Dock charging habit on these vacuums: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. Ni-MH cells in this voltage range develop capacity fade significantly faster under continuous trickle charge. Charge to full, then remove the unit from the dock until the next use.

Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when a partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated. The extra load pulls the cell voltage down faster than the indicator circuit tracks. The indicator reads the battery state, not the actual motor load — so it shows charge remaining while suction has already dropped. Clean or replace the filter first, then recharge to a full 4.8V before testing again.

Motor cutting out mid-clean and recovering after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked nozzle, clogged filter, or hair wrap on the brush — motor current spikes and the protection circuit cuts power to prevent cell damage. The pack resets once current drops, which is why the vacuum restarts after a short pause. Clear the blockage completely, then verify the pack is sitting above 4.0V under load before assuming the battery is at fault.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Schneide AGS65 has noticeably less suction than it used to, but the battery indicator still shows charged — what's happening?

A restricted filter is the most likely cause. When airflow is blocked, the motor works harder, draws more current than rated, and the cell voltage sags early — but the indicator circuit doesn't track load, only resting charge. Clean the filter thoroughly and run a full charge cycle before writing off the battery. If suction recovers after clearing the filter, the battery is fine.

The motor on my Schneide 10 AGS keeps cutting out for a few seconds then starting again — is the replacement battery faulty?

That cut-and-recover pattern is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a cell failure. The protection circuit shuts down when motor current spikes — usually because a nozzle blockage or clogged filter is restricting airflow and forcing the motor to work harder. Clear the nozzle and brush roll completely, then recharge to full 4.8V and retest. If the cut-outs stop after clearing the restriction, the pack is working correctly.

I've had my Schneide AGS vacuum on the charging dock for weeks and now it barely holds charge — did the new battery arrive faulty?

Continuous dock charging is the cause. Ni-MH cells at this voltage degrade faster under prolonged trickle charge than from normal use cycles. Leaving the vacuum docked permanently after the pack reaches full is the single fastest way to shorten capacity. Charge the pack fully, remove the unit from the dock, and only return it to charge when depleted — capacity typically stabilises within two or three cycles managed this way.
