Fits SUZUKA KAKA P2 cordless vacuum; replaces OEM battery for this model only.
14.8V, 2600mAh capacity delivers full motor power on handheld vacuum duty cycles.
Battery slides into dock housing with barrel connector; locking tab seats flush when fully inserted.
Bench testing on KAKA P2 dock showed clean BMS handshake on first insert; no fault light.
Remove battery from dock immediately after reaching full charge—continuous trickle charging degrades capacity in cordless vacuums faster than on-demand charging cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

SUZUKA KAKA P2 — 14.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 14.8V, 2600mAh lithium-ion battery for the SUZUKA KAKA P2 cordless vacuum cleaner. It replaces the original pack when the cell no longer holds enough charge to complete a cleaning session. Voltage and connector match the KAKA P2 platform directly.

  • KAKA P2 platform fit: The KAKA P2 runs a 14.8V four-cell Li-ion architecture. This pack matches that voltage rail and the physical connector orientation so the battery seats without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through discharge under motor load and monitored the BMS. Overcurrent protection tripped correctly on surge events and recovery was clean with no false low-voltage cutoffs at operating temperature.
  • Dock charging habit on the KAKA P2: Do not leave the KAKA P2 sitting on the charger continuously between uses. Cordless vacuums on permanent dock charge develop capacity fade faster than units charged only when the cell is depleted. Charge to full, then remove.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

The KAKA P2 motor draws harder when the filter is partially blocked — airflow restriction forces higher current at the same fan speed. The BMS reads that sustained overcurrent draw as a near-depleted cell and begins throttling motor voltage before the indicator LED registers low. The result is noticeably reduced suction while the battery gauge still shows charge remaining. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest suction at a stable motor load.

Motor cutting out mid-use and then recovering after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the vacuum picks up a blockage or runs over dense carpet, motor current spikes sharply and the BMS shuts the output rail to protect the cells. After a brief thermal recovery window — typically a few seconds — the BMS resets and power returns. Clear any blockage in the nozzle and check the filter before restarting. If trips continue on an unblocked vacuum, verify cell voltage under load sits above 12V; consistent drops below that point at rest indicate a degraded cell that needs replacement.

Frequently Asked Questions

My KAKA P2 loses suction well before the battery light shows low — is the battery failing?

Not necessarily. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to pull more current than rated, and the BMS interprets that sustained overdraw as a low-cell condition and throttles output early. Remove and clean the filter completely, then run the vacuum again. If suction holds steady after that, the battery is fine — the filter was the cause.

The KAKA P2 battery seems to last noticeably less than it did six months ago — nothing has changed in how I use it.

Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of this on cordless vacuums. Leaving the unit plugged in permanently means the charger applies a trickle current to already-full cells, and that degrades capacity over hundreds of charge cycles. Remove the KAKA P2 from the dock once the charge is complete and only reconnect when the battery is genuinely depleted. A replacement pack combined with this habit change will restore cleaning performance.

The replacement battery is seated correctly but the KAKA P2 won't start charging — the charger light just blinks.

A blinking charger light usually means the BMS in the new pack is presenting a voltage the charger is not recognising, or the pack shipped in a deeply discharged state that triggers a protection lockout. Check the pack's resting voltage with a multimeter — if it reads below 10V, the BMS has locked out to prevent damage. Some chargers will not initiate a charge cycle below that threshold. Try a short compatibility charge using a Li-ion charger that supports a recovery or "wake" mode, then reconnect to the KAKA P2 charger once the pack reads above 12V.
