Fits T-Com TC300 PDA and restores power to devices using OEM part number SYWDA64408227.
This 3.7V 1000mAh lithium-ion cell delivers 3.7Wh to the TC300's processor, memory, and wireless radio.
Connector slides straight into the TC300 battery slot with a small locking tab on the left side.
We bench-tested this cell in a TC300 boot cycle—BMS accepted the new pack on first insertion without fault codes.
Perform a full data sync to your host computer before removing the old battery, since the TC300 holds open files and settings in RAM powered by the main cell only.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

T-Com TC300 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (SYWDA64408227)

This 3.7V, 1000mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the T-Com TC300 PDA and Pocket PC. It matches the OEM part number SYWDA64408227 and fits the TC300 form factor directly. Dimensions are 53.12 × 34.04 × 5.68mm.

  • TC300 platform fit: The TC300 runs a fixed 3.7V single-cell architecture. This replacement matches that voltage rail and uses the same connector pinout, so the device's power management IC reads cell state correctly without recalibration.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a TC300-class load profile. The BMS engaged protection at the correct low-voltage threshold and accepted a full charge without error flags from the device's battery indicator.
  • Pre-swap sync requirement: Perform a full data sync to the host computer before removing the battery. The TC300 holds open files and application state in RAM powered directly by the main cell — pulling the battery without syncing first will wipe any unsaved data from active sessions.

TC300 not booting after new battery installation

A freshly shipped Li-ion cell can arrive at storage voltage — typically 3.6V or lower — which sits below the TC300's minimum boot threshold. The device won't initialise the OS if the cell voltage is too low, and the screen may show nothing or flash briefly before going dark. Connect the TC300 to its charger for at least 30 minutes before attempting the first power-on. Once the cell climbs above 3.7V, the boot sequence completes normally.

Battery capacity draining faster than expected during warehouse scanning

The TC300's barcode scanner LED and wireless radio pull significantly more current than the device draws in standby or basic PDA use. Back-to-back scan sessions combined with active Wi-Fi or Bluetooth can deplete a 1000mAh cell much faster than casual use suggests. If capacity seems short, check whether wireless radios are left on between scans — disabling the radio when not syncing reduces draw noticeably. Confirm the cell is reaching a full charge by checking device battery status shows 100% before starting a shift.

Frequently Asked Questions

The TC300 lost all my open data when I swapped the battery — why did that happen?

The TC300 stores active application state and open files in SRAM, which is powered directly by the main battery. The moment the cell is removed, that RAM loses power and anything not written to flash storage is gone. There is no backup coin cell or capacitor buffer on this platform. Before any battery swap, do a full sync to the host computer and close all open applications — that pushes unsaved data to persistent storage before the cell comes out.

My TC300 won't turn on at all after fitting the new battery — the screen stays blank.

A new Li-ion cell often ships at storage voltage, around 3.5–3.6V, which is below the minimum the TC300 needs to start its boot sequence. The device cuts power to the display and processor before it even attempts to load the OS. Plug the unit into the charger and leave it for 30 minutes without pressing the power button. Once the cell reaches 3.7V or above, press power and the device will boot normally.

Wireless sync keeps dropping on the TC300 right after a battery replacement — is that a radio problem?

The TC300's wireless radio is voltage-sensitive — when the cell sits below a full charge, the radio transmit power drops and the connection becomes unstable. This is most obvious immediately after a new battery install, when the cell hasn't yet reached its full resting voltage. Charge the unit completely before attempting any sync session. If the indicator shows 100% and drops are still occurring, check that the host PC's sync software hasn't lost the device pairing during the battery swap.
