Fits TCL S800 smartphone. Replaces OEM battery part numbers CAB32E0000C1, CAB32E0002C1, TLiB32E, and TLiB5AF.
3.7V, 1650mAh lithium-ion cell delivers standard talk and standby runtime for daily smartphone use without fast-charge overhead.
Connector seats into the S800 battery slot with flat positive and negative tabs; no locking mechanism, slides straight in.
We bench-tested this cell in an S800 fuel gauge IC cycle — BMS accepted charge without fault codes, voltage held steady across discharge.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-to-shutdown and full recharge cycle before re-enabling any fast charging — the fuel gauge IC needs to recalibrate its coulomb counter against the new cell curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

TCL S800 / S710 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (CAB32E0000C1)

This is a 3.7V, 1650mAh (6.11Wh) lithium-ion battery for the TCL S800, S710, J160, MW40, and three additional compatible models. It replaces OEM part numbers CAB32E0000C1, CAB32E0002C1, TLiB32E, and TLiB5AF. Fit is confirmed against the original connector and BMS handshake profile for these devices.

  • S800 / S710 platform compatibility: These models share the same 3.7V single-cell architecture, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol — which is why one battery covers the full range without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a TCL S800 unit. The BMS accepted the handshake on first connection, charge termination triggered correctly at 4.2V, and the protection circuit tripped as expected under short-circuit conditions.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Why the TCL S800 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The S800 uses a fuel gauge IC that builds a discharge curve model over several charge cycles. When you fit a new cell, the IC is still referencing the old cell's degraded curve. This mismatch causes the percentage display to read high or low until the IC relearns. Run two to three full discharge-charge cycles without fast charging — by the third cycle, reported percentage should track closely with actual cell voltage. If it still drifts, check that the battery contacts are clean and seated fully, since a resistive connection skews the coulomb counter readings.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% remaining on the replacement cell

This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell and the new cell hits its real voltage floor earlier than the OS expects. Under modem or screen load, cell voltage drops sharply below 3.5V — the BMS trips the output before the OS registers the drop. The phone reads 25% on screen but the cell is already at cutoff voltage. Run a full discharge to shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this gives the coulomb counter a fixed reference point and resolves most premature shutdowns.

Frequently Asked Questions

The TCL S800 won't turn on at all after the new battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the battery dead?

Most likely the cell discharged below 2.5V in storage and the BMS locked out to prevent damage. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20 to 30 minutes without attempting to power it on. The charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell to bring it above the BMS re-enable threshold of around 3.0V before normal charging and boot can resume.

Fast charging stopped working the first time I plugged in the phone after fitting this battery — did something go wrong?

Nothing is wrong. On the first cycle after a cell swap, the USB-PD or proprietary charge protocol negotiation can fall back to standard 5V charging while the BMS and charge IC establish baseline cell parameters. Disconnect the charger, power cycle the phone fully, then reconnect. Fast charge typically resumes on the second or third connection once the charge IC has logged one complete charge termination event against the new cell.

The phone feels warm near the battery while charging after the swap — is that normal?

A new cell has slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC dissipates a little more heat during the first few cycles. Mild warmth — not hot to the touch — is within normal range and settles after three to five full cycles as impedance drops. If the back of the phone becomes uncomfortable to hold or charging stops before 100%, remove the charger, let the phone cool to room temperature, and check that the battery connector is fully seated with no debris under the contacts.
