This 3.7V, 2600mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original BPK474-001 cell in the VeriFone V240m Plus payment terminal. It also fits the V240m, V240m 3G, and V240m 3GBWC variants that share the same battery bay and connector. Voltage and capacity match OEM spec exactly.

The V240m Plus runs a PCI security check during every boot, and that check pulls a brief current spike as it initialises the wireless and tamper-detection circuits. Plugging the terminal into the charging cradle before the first boot gives the BMS time to register the cell and set a baseline. The receipt printer motor in the V240m draws a sharp current spike the moment it fires — far higher than the idle display or wireless draw.
