Fits Verizon Smarthub Router model MBHA10, replaces OEM battery BP-MGM0110.
3.7V, 2600mAh Li-ion cell delivers 9.62Wh to sustain portable hotspot operation through standard use cycles.
Connector seats flush into the device's battery slot with no locking tab—ensure full seating before closing the battery door.
We ran a full charge cycle on the Smarthub platform; the BMS accepted the new cell without fault signals and delivered rated capacity under WiFi load.
The Smarthub's cellular radio pulls maximum current when signal is weak—keep the unit in a well-ventilated area during extended sessions to prevent heat buildup that drains the battery faster.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Verizon Smarthub Router / MBHA10 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BP-MGM0110)

This is a 3.7V, 2600mAh Li-ion battery replacing OEM part BP-MGM0110. It fits the Verizon Smarthub Router (MBHA10), a mobile hotspot unit that delivers portable Wi-Fi over cellular networks. Without a functional battery, the Smarthub cannot operate untethered from a power outlet.

  • Smarthub / MBHA10 fit: Both model designations reference the same hardware platform. They share the same battery bay connector, cell voltage, and BMS handshake protocol — one replacement covers both.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled the battery under combined modem and Wi-Fi radio load. The BMS held stable cutoff voltage under multi-device draw and responded correctly to the Smarthub's charge controller at full termination.
  • Ventilation during extended hotspot sessions: When the Smarthub is far from connected devices, the cellular radio runs at maximum output power. Keep the unit on a hard, flat surface — not a couch cushion or bag pocket — to let heat dissipate away from the cell.

Why the Smarthub drops connected devices mid-session after a battery swap

When multiple devices connect simultaneously, the combined draw from the cellular modem and the Wi-Fi radio spikes sharply. If the replacement cell has a higher internal resistance than expected, voltage sags briefly below the Smarthub's stability threshold, triggering a soft reset of the radio stack. This appears to connected devices as a sudden disconnection. Verify the battery contacts are clean and fully seated — any resistance at the connector compounds the sag.

Smarthub won't power on after sitting unused for several weeks

Li-ion cells self-discharge at roughly 1–3% per month under normal storage conditions. If the Smarthub sat unused for an extended period, the cell may have dropped below the BMS minimum boot voltage — typically around 3.0V. The BMS locks out discharge to protect the cell, so the unit shows no signs of life even when the power button is held. Connect the Smarthub to a wall charger and leave it for 15–20 minutes before attempting to power on; this allows the charger to push enough voltage into the cell for the BMS to exit lockout.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Smarthub keeps dropping all connected devices for a few seconds then reconnects — is this a battery issue?

Yes, this is a voltage sag fault. Under peak load — several devices connected while the cellular signal is weak — the combined modem and Wi-Fi draw pulls the battery voltage down momentarily, causing the radio stack to reset. Check that the battery is fully seated and the contacts are clean; any added resistance at the connector worsens the sag. If drops persist, run the battery through two full charge cycles to let the BMS calibrate to the new cell.

The battery drains noticeably faster when I'm in a poor signal area — is that normal?

Yes, and it's specific to how cellular radios work. When signal is weak, the modem increases transmit power to maintain the network connection, which draws significantly more current from the battery than it would at full signal strength. The effect compounds if multiple devices are also actively transferring data. Move the Smarthub closer to a window or higher elevation to improve signal — this directly reduces radio draw and extends time between charges.

The Smarthub gets warm on the back panel during long sessions — could this damage the new battery?

Heat comes primarily from the cellular radio, not the battery itself, but sustained warmth above 40°C does accelerate cell degradation over time. The MBHA10 does not have active cooling, so heat management is positional. Keep the unit flat on a hard surface and avoid enclosing it in a case or bag during active use. If the back panel is too warm to hold comfortably, move it to a cooler, ventilated spot and check that no objects are blocking the housing vents.
