Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ — 7.74V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BP47)
The BP47 is a 7.74V, 2150mAh Li-Polymer cell for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ and Redmi Note 11i Hypercharge 5G Standard Edition. It replaces the original cell when capacity has degraded to the point where the device shuts down early or holds charge poorly. Compatibility extends across variants 21091116UC and 21091116UG.
- Multi-variant fit: The Pro+, 11i Hypercharge, and the 21091116UC/UG variants share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake — one cell covers all of them without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on a Redmi Note 11 Pro+ unit, confirming the BMS accepted the cell, fast-charge handshake completed after the first calibration cycle, and the fuel gauge IC tracked voltage within expected tolerance.
- Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC build an accurate discharge curve map against the new cell before high-current charging pushes load into an uncalibrated state.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the BP47 replacement cell
This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity fault. The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ draws heavy current during simultaneous modem activity and screen-on load. A new cell not yet calibrated to the fuel gauge IC can report 25% remaining while the actual resting voltage has already dropped below what the system can sustain under that load. The phone cuts out as a protection response, not a BMS defect. Run one full discharge to near-shutdown and a full charge to 100% without interruption — the coulomb counter resets and the shutdowns stop.
USB-PD fast charge not triggering on the first cycle after installation
The Redmi Note 11 Pro+'s charge IC negotiates fast-charge protocol against the BMS state on the new cell. On the first cycle, the BMS may present a state-of-charge value the charge IC treats as outside fast-charge entry conditions, so it defaults to standard 5V charging. This is not a charger fault or a defective cell. Charge the phone once at standard rate to 100%, then unplug and replug — the BMS state updates and fast charge resumes at the next session. Confirm fast charge is active by checking Settings → Battery → Charging and verifying the turbo or fast charge indicator appears.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Redmi Note 11 Pro+ keeps shutting off at around 25% after fitting the BP47 — is the new battery faulty?
It is not a faulty cell. The fuel gauge IC in the phone is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve, so it misreads the remaining voltage in the BP47 under heavy load — the modem and screen together pull enough current to drop the cell voltage below the system threshold before the percentage reaches zero. Run one full uninterrupted discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% in one session. After that single calibration cycle, the coulomb counter aligns to the new cell and the early shutdowns stop.
The battery percentage jumps around erratically — it read 60%, then jumped to 45%, then back to 55% within minutes.
This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against an unfamiliar cell. The IC uses a stored discharge model from the original cell; the BP47's actual voltage-to-capacity curve does not match that model yet, so the percentage estimate swings as the IC tries to correct itself mid-use. Force one complete cycle — discharge fully until the phone shuts itself off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% with the screen off or on standby. The IC locks in a corrected model after that cycle and the percentage stabilises.
The phone feels warm near the battery area while charging the new BP47 — should I be concerned?
Mild warmth on the first few charge cycles is normal with a new Li-Polymer cell. A fresh cell has slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in one, so the charge IC dissipates a little more heat as it pushes current in. If the phone becomes hot to the touch or the charge IC pauses and restarts repeatedly, stop and check the cable and adaptor. For the first two to three charge sessions, use the included Xiaomi adaptor — third-party chargers with inconsistent voltage delivery can cause the charge IC to work harder against the new cell's impedance, increasing heat. By cycle four the impedance drops and warmth during charging returns to normal levels.
