Fits Zafferano Pina Pro, Poldina L, Push Up, and Home models replacing OEM battery BAT04701906701900.
3.7V, 2600mAh lithium-ion cell delivers 9.62Wh to sustain cordless operation across all brightness levels.
Single-cell cartridge slides into the lamp base with a friction-fit connector and positive terminal forward.
We bench-tested this cell in a Pina Pro at full brightness and dimmed modes — BMS voltage held steady, no low-battery cutoff until full depletion.
On first use, charge the lamp fully before switching to UV mode — the UV LED draws 3–4 times the current of standard white light and will trigger false low-battery warnings on an uncalibrated cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Zafferano Pina Pro / Poldina L Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BAT04701906701900)

This is a 3.7V, 2600mAh Li-ion replacement cell for the Zafferano Pina Pro, Push Up, Home, and Poldina L cordless LED desk lamps. It slots into the lamp base and restores full wireless operation when the original cell has degraded or stopped holding charge. Capacity figures come from the product data sheet — 2600mAh / 9.62Wh.

  • Pina Pro, Push Up, Home, and Poldina L compatibility: These four lamps share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and 3.7V nominal cell voltage. The LED driver circuit in each is tuned to this voltage rail, so swapping in a correctly rated cell restores full dimming range without triggering low-voltage shutoff prematurely.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the full brightness range on the Pina Pro — from warm dim to maximum output. The BMS held stable input to the LED driver across all steps, and charge termination triggered cleanly at 4.2V with no overcharge excursion.
  • First-use calibration on multi-mode lamps: Charge the lamp fully before switching between brightness modes for the first time. A cell shipped at storage voltage can read as low immediately after a high-draw mode activates — a full charge cycle lets the fuel gauge recalibrate to the actual cell capacity.

Why the Pina Pro dims suddenly at maximum brightness

Maximum brightness draws three to four times more current than the lowest warm dim setting. If the cell is partially depleted, that current spike causes voltage to sag below the LED driver's minimum input threshold. The driver responds by stepping the lamp down to a lower brightness tier — not a fault, just load management. A fully charged cell sustains the higher current draw without the sag, keeping the lamp at rated output.

Lamp flickers then cuts out on a replacement cell

Flickering followed by a hard cutoff usually means the BMS tripped on an overcurrent event, not a bad cell. This happens when a new cell at storage voltage — typically around 3.6V — is asked to power the lamp immediately before a full charge. The LED driver pulls peak current on startup, and a cold cell at partial state of charge hits the BMS current limit. Charge the battery to 4.2V first, then power on — startup current stays within the BMS window and the flicker stops.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Pina Pro lamp won't reach full brightness even with a brand-new battery installed — why?

A new cell ships at storage voltage, around 3.6V, not full charge at 4.2V. The LED driver on the Pina Pro throttles output when input voltage is below its rated operating point, so the lamp runs dim even though the battery is new. Charge the lamp fully via USB before first use. After a complete charge cycle the driver gets its full voltage rail and brightness returns to rated output.

The USB charging on my Pina Pro slows to a crawl when the lamp is switched on — is that normal?

Yes. When the lamp is on while charging, the LED circuit draws current from the same USB input that's feeding the battery. That shared draw reduces the current available to the cell, so charge rate drops noticeably — more so at higher brightness settings. Switch the lamp off during charging if you want the fastest charge time, or run it on the lowest dim setting to minimise the competing load.

My Pina Pro ran fine for a few weeks then started dying much faster — what changed?

Repeated shallow cycles — charging from 80% rather than letting the cell discharge further — can cause the fuel gauge to drift and misreport remaining capacity. The cell also loses usable capacity faster if it regularly sits at 100% for extended periods. Let the lamp discharge to around 20–30% before plugging in, and unplug once charging completes. This keeps the cell working across a wider voltage window and slows capacity fade.
