Fits ZTE S302 smartphone; replaces OEM battery part number Li3710T42P3h553657.
3.7V nominal voltage with 1050mAh capacity delivers 3.89Wh to sustain processor, display, and modem draw on this device.
Connector seats into the S302 battery slot with standard lithium-ion contact alignment; no locking tab required.
We bench-tested this cell on a ZTE S302 test unit; BMS accepted charge current without fault codes and voltage held steady under modem load.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against this cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ZTE S302 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (Li3710T42P3h553657)

This 3.7V Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the ZTE S302 smartphone. It carries a capacity of 1050mAh (3.89Wh) and matches the OEM part number Li3710T42P3h553657. The physical dimensions — 55.42 × 35.01 × 5.41mm — match the S302 battery bay without modification.

  • S302 platform fit: The S302 uses a slim single-cell Li-ion pack at 3.7V nominal. This cell replicates the connector pinout and BMS communication lines the phone's charge IC expects, so the device recognises the pack on first boot.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge under load representative of the S302's modem and display draw. The BMS held cutoff correctly at the low-voltage threshold and did not trip during simulated peak-current events.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the S302's fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before any high-current protocol pushes current into an uncalibrated pack.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the ZTE S302 after a cell swap

The S302's fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge curve from the old cell. When a new cell goes in, that curve no longer matches the actual voltage-vs-capacity profile of the replacement. At high-draw moments — active LTE, screen at full brightness — the new cell's terminal voltage drops below the IC's cutoff threshold while the displayed percentage still reads 20–30%. The phone interprets this as a hard undervoltage event and shuts down. One full slow-rate discharge-charge cycle forces the IC to relearn the curve, and the shutdowns stop.

ZTE S302 not powering on after the battery sat discharged in storage

Li-ion cells that drop below roughly 2.5V trigger a BMS protection lockout — the pack disconnects itself to prevent cell damage, and the phone sees no power rail at all. Plugging into a charger may show no response for several minutes while the charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS re-enable threshold. Leave the phone on charge with a known-good cable and adapter for at least 15–20 minutes before attempting to power on. Once the cell reaches approximately 3.0V, the BMS re-initialises and normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

My ZTE S302 keeps shutting off at around 25% battery — why does this happen with a new cell?

The S302's fuel gauge IC is still reading the discharge curve it learned from the old battery. When the new cell's voltage drops sharply under modem or screen load, the IC hits its cutoff threshold even though the displayed percentage says 25%. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% at standard rate without fast charging. That single cycle recalibrates the coulomb counter against the new cell and the premature shutdowns stop.

The ZTE S302 won't turn on at all after I installed the replacement battery — no screen, nothing.

If the cell sat discharged for an extended period before installation, its voltage may have dropped below 2.5V, triggering the BMS protection lockout. The phone gets no power rail, so it appears completely dead. Connect to a wall adapter — not a PC port — and leave it for 15 to 20 minutes without pressing any button. The charge IC trickle-charges the cell; once it climbs back above roughly 3.0V the BMS re-enables and the phone will respond to the power button.

The battery percentage on my ZTE S302 is jumping around erratically — goes from 60% to 45% in seconds.

This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating in real time against a cell it has not yet profiled. The IC's stored charge map was built on the original cell's impedance and discharge curve; the new cell has different characteristics, so the percentage readout is unstable until the IC has reference data. Run two complete discharge-charge cycles at standard rate — no fast charging — and the percentage display will stabilise as the coulomb counter locks onto the new cell's actual curve.
