Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

HTC One X / One XT Series — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BJ83100)
This is a 3.8V, 1800mAh Li-Polymer battery replacing OEM part BJ83100 in the HTC One X, One XT, Supreme, and Endeavor smartphones. It also cross-references OEM numbers 35H00187-00M, 35H00187-01M, and PJ83100. Dimensions are 61.40 × 54.10 × 4.30mm — confirm against your original cell before fitting.
- One X platform compatibility: The One X, One XT, Supreme, and Endeavor share the same battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and charge IC handshake. All run on the same 3.8V nominal rail, so one cell covers the full model group without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through a full charge cycle on an HTC One X unit. The charge IC accepted the BMS handshake on the first connection, reached 4.35V at full charge, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage cutoff during a controlled discharge.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle from 100% down to automatic shutdown and back to full. This gives the fuel gauge IC a clean reference curve for the new cell before high-current charging is applied to an uncalibrated pack.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the HTC One X after a cell swap
The One X uses a coulomb-counter fuel gauge IC that was calibrated to the discharge curve of the original aged cell. A fresh cell has a steeper voltage drop near the end of discharge, which the old calibration data does not match. The phone interprets the voltage cliff as a critical low-battery event and shuts down before the reported percentage reaches zero. One full discharge-charge cycle resets the coulomb counter and aligns the gauge to the new cell's actual curve. After that cycle, percentage readings stabilise and early shutdowns stop.
Phone stays at 0% and will not power on after storage
Li-Polymer cells stored at or near full discharge can drop below 2.5V per cell, triggering the BMS protection circuit into lockout mode. In lockout, the battery appears completely dead — no charge indicator, no boot. Connect the phone to a wall adapter rated at 5V/1A and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC trickle-feeds current into the cell until the BMS exits lockout, typically around 2.9V, after which normal charging resumes and the phone will power on.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does my HTC One X show the wrong battery percentage after fitting the new cell?
The fuel gauge IC on the One X stores a discharge curve calibrated to the original cell — not the replacement. When the new cell's voltage profile doesn't match that stored curve, the reported percentage drifts, sometimes by 15–20 points. Run one full discharge from 100% down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. That single cycle gives the coulomb counter a clean reference and percentage readings settle to within a few points of actual charge level.
The phone gets noticeably warm near the battery during the first few charges — is that normal?
A new Li-Polymer cell has slightly higher internal impedance than a worn-in cell, so the charge IC pushes against more resistance during the first few cycles, generating extra heat. This is most noticeable during the first two or three full charges and fades as the cell's impedance drops. Keep the phone out of a case during those initial charges to allow heat to dissipate. If the back stays hot beyond cycle three, check that no background sync or screen-on process is running simultaneously during charging.
My HTC One X won't accept a fast charge after I replaced the battery — it only trickle charges now.
On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC sometimes defaults to a low-current pre-charge mode because it cannot immediately verify the new cell's state. This is a deliberate BMS safety step, not a fault. Allow the phone to complete one full slow charge to 100% without interruption. On the second charge cycle the IC confirms the cell is healthy, exits pre-charge mode, and resumes normal charge current — typically climbing back to the expected rate around 4.0V.
