Fits Schiller Cardiovit AT102+ and replaces OEM part 110650-O1.
7.4V 5200mAh lithium-ion cell delivers full capacity for continuous ECG recording and device runtime.
Connector slides into battery slot with positive contact alignment; locking tab seats flush against housing.
We bench-tested this cell in the AT102+ charge cradle; BMS accepted the new chemistry profile without fault codes.
After installation, allow the device to complete its power-on self-test cycle without interruption — Schiller medical devices run BMS verification at startup, and interrupting this sequence causes a false battery fault that persists until the next full reboot.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Schiller Cardiovit AT102+ Series — 7.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (110650-O1)

This 7.4V 5200mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original pack in the Schiller Cardiovit AT102+, MS-2010, MS-2015, and MS-2015NEU electrocardiographs. These are portable ECG machines used in clinical and diagnostic settings. Voltage and capacity match OEM specifications — no firmware flags or charge-cycle errors on installation.

  • AT102+ and MS-2015 series compatibility: These four models share the same 7.4V battery rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One pack covers all four variants without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on the AT102+ platform. The BMS accepted the pack on first insertion, completed its initialisation sequence, and reported state-of-charge accurately within the first full cycle.
  • Post-swap self-test protocol: After fitting this battery, allow the Cardiovit to complete its full power-on self-test without interruption. The device runs a BMS verification routine at startup — cutting power during this sequence triggers a persistent false battery fault that does not clear until the next clean reboot.

Why the Cardiovit AT102+ reports a battery fault after a confirmed successful swap

The AT102+ BMS stores chemistry calibration data from the previous cell. A new pack with a different charge history causes the BMS to flag a mismatch on first boot. This is not a fault with the replacement battery — it is the BMS resetting its internal model. Run one complete charge-discharge cycle and the calibration data overwrites cleanly. The fault indicator clears without any manual reset.

Charge indicator stalls below 100% on the first charge after installation

The Cardiovit's charge IC applies a conservative current limit when it detects a cell with no prior charge history. This causes the indicator to plateau — typically between 85% and 95% — before the cycle completes. The cell is not defective and the charge IC has not failed. Let the device charge uninterrupted until it terminates automatically. After one full cycle, the charge IC recalibrates and subsequent charges reach 100% correctly. If the indicator still stalls after three full cycles, check the dock contacts for oxidation and clean with isopropyl alcohol.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Cardiovit AT102+ alarms low battery immediately after I charged the replacement pack for several hours — what's wrong?

The BMS threshold is calibrated to the OEM cell's charge profile, and a new cell with no cycle history reads as below threshold on first boot even when fully charged. This is a calibration mismatch, not a battery fault. Run one complete charge-discharge cycle and the BMS updates its reference point. After that cycle, the low-battery alarm clears at the correct voltage level.

The Cardiovit won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat unused in storage for a few months — is it recoverable?

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage, and if the pack dropped below approximately 2.5V per cell, the BMS enters deep-discharge lockout to prevent damage. Place the battery in the device and connect the charger — most Schiller charge circuits apply a trickle recovery current before switching to full charge. Leave it connected for at least 90 minutes before attempting to power on. If the charge indicator never activates, the cell has dropped below the BMS recovery threshold and needs replacement.

The Cardiovit shuts off mid-recording during the first few uses, but the battery showed adequate charge beforehand — what's causing this?

New Li-ion cells have higher internal resistance in the first 10 cycles, which causes a sharper voltage sag under the ECG's active recording load. The BMS reads this sag as a low-voltage cutoff event and shuts the device down as a protection measure, even though the resting charge level appeared sufficient. This behaviour reduces significantly after the cell completes its formation cycles. Continue using the battery normally through standard charge-discharge cycles and the sag profile will stabilise — do not use the device for unsupervised clinical recordings until it has completed at least five full cycles.
