Fits Agro R800Li cordless lawn mower, replaces OEM battery CS-ABL310VX.
25.2V 3400mAh lithium-ion cell delivers full deck motor power across cutting cycles.
Battery slides into R800Li pack slot with side locking tab engagement confirmed.
Bench testing showed stable BMS output under blade motor inrush; no early cutoff observed.
Before first season use below 10°C, bring the battery indoors overnight — cold cells trigger blade motor inrush current that can trip the BMS protection circuit.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Agro R800Li — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 25.2V, 3400mAh lithium-ion battery for the Agro R800Li cordless robotic lawn mower. It slots into the mower's battery bay and powers both the cutting deck motor and the drive system. Voltage and capacity match the original factory specification.

  • R800Li platform fit: The R800Li runs a single battery rail at 25.2V nominal. The blade motor and drive wheels draw from the same pack, so the BMS must handle both the steady drive load and the short inrush spikes from the cutting deck. This replacement uses a 7S Li-ion configuration to match that rail exactly.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the R800Li platform. The BMS communicated correctly with the mower's charge controller, protection thresholds triggered as expected, and the pack held its rated capacity across the test cycles.
  • Seasonal storage tip: Before first use of the season, bring the battery indoors overnight if temperatures are below 10°C. Cold Li-ion cells carry higher internal resistance, and the blade motor inrush current on a cold pack can trip the BMS before the mower even begins cutting.

BMS cutoff during thick-grass or wet-grass blade load

The R800Li blade motor draws significantly more current when cutting dense or wet grass compared to dry, short turf. If that inrush current exceeds the BMS overcurrent threshold — even briefly — the pack shuts down to protect the cells. This is not a battery fault; it is the protection circuit doing its job. To reduce trips, lower the cutting height setting so the deck takes less material per pass, or allow the mower to tackle heavy patches at a slower pace.

Charger refusing to accept the pack after winter storage

A pack left in a garage over winter can self-discharge below the charger's minimum acceptance voltage — typically around 2.5V per cell, or roughly 17.5V at the pack level. When voltage drops that low, the charger's safety circuit reads the pack as faulty and refuses to begin a charge cycle. To recover the pack, use a charger with a wake or recovery mode that applies a low trickle current until the cell voltage climbs above the acceptance threshold. Once the pack reads above approximately 20V, a standard charge cycle should proceed normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

My R800Li cuts out halfway through a row, then starts again after a minute — what's happening?

This is thermal protection triggering in the BMS. When the blade motor runs hard through dense or damp grass, heat builds in the cells and the BMS shuts the pack down before temperature exceeds safe limits. The pack recovers once it cools. Allow a five-minute rest before restarting, and check that the mower's ventilation slots are clear of clippings.

The charger light stays red and won't start charging after the mower sat unused all winter — is the battery dead?

Not necessarily. Over winter, the pack can self-discharge below the charger's minimum acceptance voltage. The charger reads the low voltage as a fault condition and refuses to start a normal cycle. If your charger has a recovery or wake mode, activate it — it applies a small trickle current until the pack climbs back above approximately 20V, at which point a standard charge cycle will begin.

The new battery feels noticeably warmer than the old one during the first few charges — should I be concerned?

This is normal during the first three to five cycles on a new pack. Fresh cells go through a conditioning phase where internal resistance is slightly higher than it will be once the cells are broken in. Surface warmth during this period is expected. If the pack is still running significantly hotter than the old battery after five full charge and discharge cycles, check that the battery bay contacts are clean and making full contact.
