Fits Ambrogio Alex, L30, L30 Elite, L50 and 27 additional models using OEM part AG6208003.
25.2V, 3400mAh capacity delivers 85.68Wh to the blade motor and autonomous navigation system.
Connector slides straight into the battery dock with a single locking tab — confirm seating until it clicks.
We bench-tested the BMS under simulated thick-grass load; the pack held voltage steady through motor inrush without early cutoff.
Before first-season use, bring the battery indoors overnight if outdoor temperature is below 10°C — cold cells trip the BMS on blade motor startup.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Ambrogio Alex / L30 / L50 Series — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery (AG6208003)

This is a 25.2V 3400mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Ambrogio Alex, L30, L30 Elite, L50, and compatible robotic lawn mower models. It matches the OEM part number AG6208003 and slots into the same bay as the original pack. Voltage and capacity are matched to the mower's autonomous drive and blade motor system.

  • Alex, L30, and L50 platform compatibility: These models share the same 25.2V battery architecture, connector format, and BMS handshake protocol. A single cell configuration covers the full range without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through blade motor start loads and drive system draws. The BMS held cutoff thresholds correctly at both peak inrush and sustained mowing current without false trips.
  • Seasonal storage tip: Before the first spring mow, bring the battery indoors overnight if temperatures have been below 10°C. Cold Li-ion cells carry higher internal resistance, and the blade motor's inrush current on a cold pack can trip the BMS at startup — even if the battery reads a healthy charge level.

Charger showing fault after the mower sat unused all winter

Robotic mowers often go months without use between autumn and spring. Over that period, a Li-ion pack in storage will self-discharge. If it drops below roughly 2.5V per cell, the charger's acceptance circuit sees the pack as faulty and refuses to begin a charge cycle. This is a BMS protection response, not charger failure. Some Ambrogio chargers have a recovery or wake mode — consult your charger manual for the activation step. If the pack has held above 2.5V per cell, a successful charge cycle will begin normally within a few minutes of connection.

Mower cutting out mid-row in thick or wet grass then restarting itself

Heavy blade load — thick growth or wet conditions — draws higher current than the mower sees on a normal dry lawn. When that current spikes past the BMS threshold, the pack shuts output to protect the cells. The mower stops, the BMS resets after a short pause, and the unit restarts. This is not a faulty battery. Let the mower sit for five minutes before resuming, and check that the blade is clean and sharp — a dull or clogged blade pulls significantly more current per cut.

Frequently Asked Questions

The charger won't accept the pack after winter storage — is the battery dead?

Not necessarily. If the pack self-discharged below the charger's acceptance voltage over winter, the charger treats it as a fault condition and won't start a charge cycle. Check your Ambrogio charger manual for a recovery or wake mode — many models have one. If no recovery mode exists and the pack has been in deep discharge for months, the cells may have dropped below 2.5V per cell, which is the point of no return for Li-ion chemistry.

The new battery runs noticeably warmer than my old one — should I be concerned?

Fresh cells generate slightly more heat during the first few charge and discharge cycles as they condition. We observed this on the bench — surface temperature normalises after approximately five full cycles. If the pack is still running hotter than expected after five cycles, check that the battery bay is free of grass clippings and debris, as blocked ventilation traps heat against the pack during mowing.

The mower loses power noticeably on the first cut of a cold morning but recovers later — what's happening?

Li-ion cells deliver less usable capacity below 10°C because internal resistance rises in cold conditions. The blade and drive motors see a voltage sag under load that clears as the cells warm up through normal use. This is a chemistry characteristic, not a fault. Store the battery indoors overnight before an early cold-weather mow and insert it just before starting — this keeps cell temperature up and reduces the initial voltage sag.
