Fits Bea-fon T850 and SL320 candybar phones replacing the original 3.7V lithium-ion cell.
This 3.7V 1200mAh pack delivers the voltage and capacity the T850 modem and display require for full call and messaging operation.
Connector slides straight into the T850 battery slot with the contact tab aligned toward the device frame — no adapter needed.
We bench-tested this cell on the T850 platform; the BMS accepted charge without fault codes and delivered stable voltage under standby and active loads.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle without fast charging enabled — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell curve before resuming standard charge rates.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Bea-fon T850 / SL320 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (T850)

This 3.7V 1200mAh (4.44Wh) Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the Bea-fon T850 and SL320 mobile phones. Both are candybar-style handsets that share the same battery bay dimensions and connector. Swap this in when the original cell no longer holds adequate charge for calls and messaging.

  • T850 and SL320 compatibility: Both models use the same 60.00 × 43.80 × 4.50mm form factor, identical three-pin connector, and matching voltage rail — so one cell fits both without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on the T850 platform. The BMS accepted charge handshake on the first connect, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at low-voltage threshold — no false cutoffs mid-cycle.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle before normal use. The T850's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to your old cell's discharge curve — letting it re-map against the new cell first prevents erratic percentage readings from day one.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Bea-fon T850 after a cell swap

This happens because the fuel gauge IC still holds the discharge curve from the old, degraded cell. The new cell hits a steeper voltage cliff under modem or screen load than the IC expects, so the phone interprets a rapid voltage drop as imminent shutdown and cuts power. The fix is one full discharge-charge cycle with the screen on and mobile data active — this forces the coulomb counter to relearn the actual capacity endpoints. After that cycle, the phone should report percentage accurately down to the correct low-voltage cutoff near 3.2V.

Phone warm near the battery compartment during first charge after replacement

A new cell arrives with higher internal impedance than a broken-in one. During the first charge, the T850's charge IC pushes current into that higher-impedance cell, which converts more energy to heat than usual. This is normal for the first one to two cycles and settles as the cell conditions. If the device stays warm beyond the third full charge, check that nothing is blocking the back panel and that ambient temperature is below 35°C — heat above that during charging accelerates electrolyte degradation in the new cell.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Bea-fon T850 won't turn on after the new battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is it dead?

It's most likely a BMS lockout. When a Li-ion cell self-discharges below roughly 2.5V in storage, the protection circuit locks out to prevent damage, and the phone won't respond to a normal power press. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until it clears the lockout threshold, after which the phone will boot normally.

The battery percentage on my T850 jumps around erratically — it shows 60%, drops to 15%, then jumps back up without charging.

The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating against the new cell's discharge curve after years of tracking the old one. Erratic readings are a coulomb counter problem, not a fault with the cell itself. Run two complete cycles: charge to 100% with the screen on, then discharge through normal use until the phone shuts itself off — repeat once. After the second full cycle the IC re-maps its endpoints and percentage reporting stabilises.

Fast charging stopped working on my T850 after I fitted this replacement battery — it only trickles now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC defaults to a conservative constant-current profile because the BMS on the new cell hasn't yet signalled a full charge acceptance handshake to the phone's charge controller. Complete one full standard charge cycle from flat to 100% without interrupting it. After that initial cycle the handshake completes, the charge controller recognises the cell's parameters, and higher-current charging resumes on the next session.
