Bestway Flowclear / Aquatronix — 7.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BST-58482)

This 7.4V 3350mAh (24.79Wh) Li-ion battery replaces the OEM BST-58482 cell in the Bestway Flowclear and Aquatronix cordless pool vacuum cleaners. It slots into the same battery housing and connects through the same BMS interface as the original. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds enough charge to complete a cleaning cycle.

• Flowclear and Aquatronix compatibility: Both models run the same 7.4V two-cell Li-ion pack with an identical connector pinout and BMS handshake. One replacement cell covers both units — no wiring or adapter changes needed.

Pull the filter, rinse it under running water, and let it dry fully before reinstalling. A clean filter brings motor draw back inside rated limits and restores full suction across the whole charge cycle.

Motor cuts out mid-cycle then recovers after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. It triggers when the vacuum ingests debris that restricts the impeller and spikes current draw above the protection threshold. The BMS shuts the output, waits for current to drop, then resets — which is why the unit restarts on its own after a brief pause. Clear the debris path at the impeller intake and check the filter for blockage. If trips repeat on a clean machine, measure resting cell voltage — it should sit above 7.2V on a full charge.
