Fits AENO RC3S and RC2S cordless vacuums, replacing OEM battery pack CS-BPK130VX.
14.4V and 2600mAh capacity deliver full motor torque on carpet and hard floors without sag.
Connector slides straight into the dock slot with a single locking tab — no adapters needed.
We bench-tested the BMS under sustained motor draw; cell voltage held steady through blockage simulation cycles.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock permanently — continuous trickle charge degrades capacity faster than charge-and-remove cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

AENO RC3S / RC2S — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 14.4V 2600mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original power cell in the AENO RC3S and RC2S cordless vacuum cleaners. It fits the handheld motor assembly and restores suction power when the original cell has degraded. Voltage and capacity match factory specification exactly.

  • RC3S and RC2S compatibility: Both models run on the same 14.4V power rail with the same connector format and BMS communication protocol, which is why a single cell covers the pair. Swapping between the two models on the same charger confirms this — the BMS handshake is identical.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the RC3S motor platform. The BMS registered full capacity at 2600mAh, thermal protection tripped correctly at sustained high draw, and the cell returned to standby without fault codes.
  • Dock charging behaviour on the RC3S: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock continuously. Constant trickle charge accelerates capacity fade in Li-ion cells at this voltage class. Charge to full, then remove from the dock until the next use cycle.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the motor draws more current than the BMS expects under load — typically caused by a partially blocked filter. The BMS reads a voltage sag on the cell and throttles output before the indicator registers low charge. The vacuum feels like it is running out of power, but the cell still has capacity. Clean or replace the filter and the sag disappears.

Motor cutting out mid-clean and recovering after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked filter, full dustbin, or a blockage in the nozzle — the motor strains and current spikes past the BMS threshold. The BMS cuts the circuit to protect the cell, then resets once current normalises. Fix the blockage first, then confirm cell voltage sits above 12.0V before ruling out the battery.

Frequently Asked Questions

My AENO RC3S battery fades noticeably after only a few months — is the replacement cell going to do the same thing?

Capacity fade that fast almost always comes from leaving the vacuum on the dock continuously between uses. Trickle charging a Li-ion cell at 14.4V around the clock degrades it faster than regular charge-and-remove cycles. The replacement cell will hold capacity longer if you charge it fully and pull it off the dock immediately. Store the vacuum unplugged between cleans.

The AENO RC3S suction feels weak even with a freshly charged battery — what is causing that?

A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than its rated load, which causes the BMS to sag the output voltage even when the cell is full. The vacuum then runs like it is low on charge when the battery is fine. Remove and clean the filter completely, then check suction again. If suction restores, the cell was never the issue.

The replacement battery charged fully but the RC3S motor cuts out after a few seconds of use and then comes back on — what is happening?

That is a BMS overcurrent trip triggered by high motor resistance, usually a blockage or a full dustbin pushing current past the BMS threshold. The protection circuit cuts power to the cell, then resets once load drops — which is why the motor recovers on its own. Clear any blockage, empty the bin, and retest. If the trip still happens on an unobstructed clean, check that cell voltage holds above 12.0V under load.
