This is a 7.2V, 10000mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Biomedical PRT4467 patient monitor and the Crossvent 4+ and Crossvent 3+ ventilators. It replaces OEM part numbers OM11470, 110376, and 120376. Capacity figure is taken from product data at 72Wh.

• PRT4467 and Crossvent 3+/4+ compatibility: These devices share the same 7.2V battery rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell fits all three platforms without modification.

The PRT4467 and Crossvent units run a BMS learn cycle on first use with a new cell. If the battery has been in storage, its resting voltage may have dropped below the threshold the charge IC needs to begin a normal charge cycle — typically under 6.0V for this 7.2V Ni-MH pack. The device may stall at the boot screen or loop through partial self-tests as a result. Connect to mains power and allow a full uninterrupted charge before attempting to power on from battery alone.

Charge indicator not reaching 100% on the first charge

On first charge, the device's charge IC applies a conservative current limit to a new Ni-MH cell — this is normal behaviour, not a fault. The charge controller is reading cell impedance higher than a conditioned pack, so it throttles back and the percentage climbs slowly or plateaus below 100%. Run one complete charge-discharge cycle and the IC recalibrates its endpoint detection. After that cycle, the indicator should reach full charge and hold correctly.
