Fits BlackView E7 smartphones; replaces OEM battery part E7.
3.8V, 2750mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers full capacity across calls, messaging, and standby cycles on this device.
Connector seats flush into the E7 battery slot with standard contact alignment; no locking tab, seats fully when pressed.
We ran discharge cycles at 0.5C and 1C loads; BMS accepted the cell without early cutoff or voltage sag anomalies.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BlackView E7 — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (E7)

This 3.8V, 2750mAh (10.45Wh) lithium-polymer cell replaces the internal battery in the BlackView E7 smartphone. It fits the E7 directly, restoring power to devices where the original cell has degraded or failed. Dimensions are 89.30 × 63.00 × 4.00mm — confirm clearance before installation.

  • E7 platform fit: The BlackView E7 uses a fixed internal cell with a specific connector pinout and BMS handshake tied to the device's charge IC. This replacement matches that pinout and voltage rail so the charge IC recognises the cell without triggering a fault state.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on the bench and monitored BMS cutoff thresholds. The protection circuit held cutoff at the expected low-voltage floor and the charge IC accepted a full CC-CV charge profile without error flags.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and complete one full discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes energy into an uncalibrated coulomb counter.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

After a cell swap, the fuel gauge IC still holds the old cell's discharge curve in memory. The new cell's voltage drops faster under modem and screen load than the old degraded cell did — so the IC hits its low-voltage cutoff well before the percentage reads zero. The phone interprets that hard voltage drop as an emergency shutdown, not a normal power-off. Run one full discharge to cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% to push the coulomb counter through a complete reference cycle.

USB charging not accepted on the first cycle after fitting

Some charge ICs on the E7 perform a handshake with the battery BMS before allowing charge current above trickle level. On a fresh cell that has never been cycled in this specific device, that handshake can time out, leaving the phone showing a charging icon but drawing minimal current. Connect to a 5V standard charger — not a fast charger — and leave it for 20 minutes before checking again. Once the BMS completes its first recognition cycle, normal charge current resumes and fast charge protocols re-enable on subsequent cycles.

Frequently Asked Questions

My BlackView E7 shuts off at around 25% after I put in the new battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC learned the discharge curve of your old degraded cell and still uses that map with the new one. Under modem or screen load, the fresh cell's voltage drops faster than the IC expects, triggering a hard cutoff before the percentage reaches zero. Run one complete discharge to shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption — that resets the coulomb counter reference and the shutdowns stop.

The phone feels warm near the battery area while charging for the first time after the swap — should I be concerned?

This is normal on the first charge cycle. A new high-impedance cell generates more heat than a broken-in cell as the charge IC works through the constant-current phase. We measured elevated surface temperatures on the bench during initial CC-phase charging on fresh cells — they dropped to normal within the second and third cycles. If the phone becomes too hot to hold or charging stops with an error, disconnect and check that the connector is seated fully flat with no bent pins.

The battery percentage on my E7 is jumping around erratically — it reads 60%, then drops to 40%, then climbs back up.

Erratic percentage is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against an unfamiliar cell discharge curve. The IC uses historical data to estimate state-of-charge, and a new cell with a different internal resistance profile throws those estimates off. The fix is a full reference cycle: drain the phone completely until it shuts off on its own, then charge to 100% in one uninterrupted session. After that single cycle, the coulomb counter has a clean baseline and percentage reporting stabilises.
