This 3.8V, 3200mAh lithium-polymer cell replaces part number C986241250L in the BLU Studio Mega, S610, Advance A6, and A190P. It matches the original cell's dimensions (98.70 × 62.00 × 4.50mm) and connector pinout. Capacity is 3200mAh / 12.16Wh — identical to the stock specification.

The fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the old cell's internal resistance curve and cannot accurately predict where the new cell's voltage will drop under load. One full discharge-charge cycle with fast charging off resets the coulomb counter and maps the new curve. After that cycle, the reported percentage and actual cutoff voltage align correctly.
BLU phone won't power on after the replacement battery sat in storage
Li-polymer cells self-discharge during storage. If the cell dropped below approximately 2.5V per cell, the BMS enters lockout mode to prevent damage and blocks normal power-on. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until voltage recovers above the BMS re-enable threshold, typically around 2.9V, at which point the phone will boot normally.

Fast charging stopped working on my BLU S610 the moment I put in the replacement battery — what's wrong?
On the first cycle after a cell swap, the phone's charge IC often defaults to standard charging until it validates the new BMS. This is expected behaviour, not a fault. Charge the phone fully once at standard speed, then reboot. Most S610 units re-enable fast charge automatically after the BMS has completed one full handshake cycle with the new cell.
The replacement battery percentage jumps around erratically — it reads 60%, then drops to 40% seconds later. Is the cell defective?
This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating after the cell swap, not a defective cell. The coulomb counter lost its reference point when the old cell was removed and is now estimating state-of-charge against an uncalibrated baseline. Complete two full discharge-charge cycles — draining to auto-shutdown each time, then charging to 100% — and the percentage will stabilise. If jumping continues past the third cycle, check that the battery flex connector is fully seated.
