Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11E Pro — 3.87V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BN5E)
This is a 3.87V, 4900mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11E Pro. It fits the BN5E slot directly and restores the phone's full operating capacity. Use it when the original cell has degraded, swells, or no longer holds a usable charge.
- Redmi Note 11E Pro fit: The BN5E cell matches the connector pinout, physical dimensions (93.30 × 65.00 × 4.70mm), and BMS handshake the phone's charge IC expects. No adapter or modification needed.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on the Redmi Note 11E Pro. The BMS accepted the charge curve without tripping over-voltage cutoff, and the fuel gauge IC tracked state-of-charge accurately after one full calibration cycle.
- Fuel gauge recalibration after install: On first use, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge to 100% uninterrupted. This lets the coulomb counter recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current fast charging applies significant load to an uncalibrated gauge.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the BN5E replacement cell
This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. The old cell had a different internal resistance profile, so the gauge miscalculates remaining voltage under load. When the modem fires a transmission burst or the screen peaks brightness, current draw spikes and the actual cell voltage drops below the cutoff threshold — even though the percentage shown is 25%. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% resets the coulomb counter against the new cell's curve and eliminates these shutdowns.
USB-PD fast charge not activating on first cycle after replacement
After a cell swap, the phone's charge IC may default to standard 5V charging on the first cycle. This is a handshake timing issue — the BMS in a new cell takes one full cycle before it signals the correct charge acceptance rate to the power delivery controller. If fast charge does not activate, complete one standard charge cycle to 100%, disconnect, and reconnect the charger. Fast charge should re-negotiate correctly from the second cycle onward at the expected voltage step.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Redmi Note 11E Pro shuts off at around 25% even though the battery percentage looks fine — is this a faulty cell?
This is a fuel gauge calibration issue, not a defective cell. The coulomb counter in the phone is still reading the discharge curve of the old battery, so it miscalculates voltage under modem or screen load spikes. The real cell voltage drops below the hardware cutoff threshold while the OS still shows 25%. Run one full discharge to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — the gauge recalibrates and the premature shutdowns stop.
The phone won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before installation — how do I recover it?
Extended storage can drop a Li-Polymer cell below the BMS lockout threshold, typically around 2.5V per cell. When voltage falls that low, the BMS cuts all output to prevent damage and the phone shows no response to the power button or charger. Connect the phone to a wall adapter — not a PC port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until voltage climbs above the BMS re-enable threshold, after which normal charging resumes.
After fitting the BN5E, the battery percentage jumps around erratically — it reads 60%, then 45%, then back to 55% within minutes without heavy use. What causes this?
Erratic percentage readings after a cell swap are a known fuel gauge IC behaviour on the Redmi Note 11E Pro. The coulomb counter accumulated calibration data on the original cell over hundreds of cycles, and that data does not match the new cell's impedance and discharge characteristics. The gauge oscillates while it tries to reconcile stored values against real voltage readings. Complete two full discharge-to-shutdown and charge-to-100% cycles without fast charging — by the end of the second cycle the fuel gauge stabilises against the new cell's actual curve.
