Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Redmi Note 11E Pro — 3.87V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BN5E)
This is a 3.87V, 4900mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Redmi Note 11E Pro smartphone. It uses OEM part number BN5E and fits directly into the Note 11E Pro chassis. Capacity is rated at 18.96Wh, matching the original cell specification.
- Note 11E Pro fit: The BN5E cell is specific to the Note 11E Pro — the connector pinout, BMS handshake protocol, and physical footprint (93.30 × 65.00 × 4.70mm) are not shared with other Note 11 variants. Fitting a different Note 11 battery will cause charge IC rejection or a loose connector.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through the Note 11E Pro's charge IC and confirmed BMS communication, thermal reporting, and charge termination all behaved normally. The coulomb counter initialised correctly after one full discharge-to-charge cycle.
- First-cycle fast charging: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate its discharge curve against the new cell before high-current charging pushes load into an uncalibrated state. Re-enable fast charging after that first full cycle completes.
Why the Note 11E Pro reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap
The Note 11E Pro uses a coulomb counter inside the fuel gauge IC to track charge state. When the original cell is removed, that counter loses its reference curve. The replacement cell has a slightly different internal resistance profile, so the IC initially maps percentage against the wrong discharge curve. This shows up as the reported percentage jumping or reading artificially high until the IC re-learns the new cell. One full discharge down to automatic shutdown, followed by a full charge, resets the calibration.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell
This happens when the modem or display draws a short high-current spike that the cell cannot hold voltage through. At around 3.55–3.60V under load, an uncalibrated or partially discharged Li-Polymer cell can sag below the protection threshold momentarily, triggering a hard cutoff. The phone reads 20–30% because the fuel gauge IC has not yet learned where the new cell's voltage cliff actually sits. Run one full calibration cycle — discharge to shutdown, charge uninterrupted to 100% — and the IC will map the real voltage cliff correctly.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Note 11E Pro won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is it dead?
The BN5E cell has a BMS that locks out below approximately 2.5V per cell to prevent damage from deep discharge during storage. Connect the phone to a charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without attempting to power it on — the charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell before the BMS will release the lockout. Once the battery reaches roughly 3.0V, the phone will boot normally.
Fast charging stopped working the first time I plugged in after fitting this battery — the phone only charges slowly now.
On the first cycle after a cell swap, the Note 11E Pro's charge IC can fail to negotiate the proprietary fast-charge handshake because the BMS on the new cell presents a higher impedance than the IC expects from a "known" cell. This is not a fault — it resolves after one complete charge at standard speed. Charge to 100% on a standard 5V/2A charger, then reboot the phone before plugging in the fast charger again.
The battery percentage jumps erratically — it reads 45%, drops to 12%, then jumps back up within minutes.
The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve and has not yet established a stable reference. Erratic jumps like this are most common in the first two to three charge cycles after a cell swap. Discharge the phone fully until it shuts itself down, then charge it to 100% in one uninterrupted session — do not top up in short bursts during this cycle. After that single full cycle, the IC will have enough data to report a stable percentage.
