Fits Cybernetik UHD 4K camera; replaces OEM battery CS-SDX400MC.
3.7V, 900mAh capacity delivers full power to sensor, processor, and autofocus circuits.
Connector slides straight into camera battery slot; locking tab secures against spring contact.
Bench test showed stable 3.65V resting voltage; BMS accepted charge cycle from camera body.
On first use, run one complete charge cycle inside the camera before heavy shooting — Cybernetik body firmware needs that cycle to map battery-remaining display accurately.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Cybernetik UHD 4K — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 3.7V 900mAh (3.33Wh) Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the Cybernetik UHD 4K and Ultra HD 4K cameras. It restores power to the imaging system, processor, and recording functions. Physical dimensions are 32.77 × 29.16 × 10.89mm — measure your original cell before fitting.

  • UHD 4K and Ultra HD 4K fit: Both model names reference the same camera platform and share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol. One cell covers both.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on a UHD 4K body. The BMS accepted the cell, reported battery status correctly, and held voltage above 3.5V through sustained 4K video recording draws.
  • First-install charge cycle: Insert the cell and charge it fully inside the camera body before your first shoot. Some camera BMS systems only calibrate the battery-remaining indicator after completing one charge cycle from within the camera itself — skipping this step can cause erratic percentage readings from the start.

Flash recycling slowing down before the battery indicator hits low

The onboard flash draws a sharp burst of current to recharge its capacitor after each shot. As cell voltage sags under sustained use, that recharge current drops, and recycle time stretches noticeably — even when the indicator still shows 30–40% remaining. The BMS is protecting the cell from voltage collapse under high-current pulses, not misfiring. This is normal behaviour at lower state of charge, not a fault with the replacement cell. If recycle lag becomes disruptive, treat anything below 3.6V on the cell as effective end-of-shoot.

Battery percentage jumping or resetting erratically mid-shoot

Camera battery gauges map percentage to a voltage curve calibrated against the original factory cell. A new replacement cell can have a slightly different discharge curve, causing the indicator to jump — for example, dropping from 60% to 20% without warning. This usually corrects itself after one or two full charge-discharge cycles as the BMS learns the new cell's curve. If the gauge is still erratic after three cycles, perform a full drain to camera shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% inside the camera body to force a recalibration at 4.2V full charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Cybernetik UHD 4K shows a dead battery icon immediately after I insert the new cell — is the battery faulty?

The camera's BMS hasn't authenticated the new cell yet. This happens most often when the cell is inserted at a low resting voltage after shipping. Place it in the camera body, connect the charger, and let it complete one full charge cycle without interruption. After that cycle, the BMS should clear the icon and report a valid charge level.

Shot count on the new battery is noticeably lower than I expected — is something wrong?

Continuous 4K recording pulls harder on the cell than standard photo capture — the image processor, sensor, and any active stabilisation all draw simultaneously rather than in short bursts. The rated capacity reflects total stored energy, not a specific shot count, and active video draw can shorten usable sessions significantly compared to mixed-use estimates. Check that 4K recording mode isn't running in the background when shooting stills. If capacity still seems low after three full cycles, confirm the cell is reaching 4.2V at end of charge.

The camera body gets noticeably warm during long video clips on this replacement cell — should I be concerned?

Heat during sustained 4K recording is produced mainly by the sensor and image processor, not the battery itself. The cell does contribute some heat as it delivers sustained current, but a warm body is normal under continuous high-resolution recording loads. The BMS will cut output before the cell reaches a damaging temperature. To reduce heat build-up, shoot in shorter clips with brief pauses rather than continuous long takes, and avoid recording in direct sunlight where ambient temperature compounds the sensor's own output.
