Fits Domo DO211S, DO203S, and DO211S-45 handheld vacuums; replaces OEM part 91705363.
14.4V Ni-MH delivers 2000mAh capacity; motor sustains full suction on carpet and hard floors.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a single locking tab on the left side.
We bench-tested the BMS under sustained motor draw — charger accepted the cell without fault codes on first connection.
Do not leave this vacuum on the charging dock continuously after reaching full charge — Ni-MH cells on trickle current develop capacity fade; charge fully and remove immediately.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Domo DO211S / DO203S Series — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (91705363)

This is a 14.4V 2000mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Domo DO211S, DO203S, and DO211S-45 cordless handheld vacuums. OEM part number 91705363 confirms fitment across these models. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds charge or the vacuum shuts off before the job is done.

  • DO211S, DO203S, and DO211S-45 compatibility: All three models run the same 14.4V motor rail and share the same connector and battery housing dimensions. One cell covers the group — no adaptor or modification needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through load testing on the DO211S motor. The BMS handled the inrush current at motor start without tripping, and voltage held steady across the discharge curve under normal suction load.
  • Dock charging habit for this vacuum: Do not leave the DO211S sitting on the charging dock continuously. Ni-MH cells in handheld vacuums develop capacity fade significantly faster under constant trickle charge. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the motor draws more current than the BMS expects — usually caused by a partially blocked filter, not a failing battery. A restricted airflow path forces the motor to work harder, pulling higher current and triggering a voltage sag at the cell terminals. The vacuum reads this sag as low charge and reduces power to protect the cell. Clear the filter first, then recheck suction — if the problem clears, the battery is not the cause.

Motor cuts out mid-use then recovers after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a power cut. When suction is restricted — blocked nozzle, saturated filter, or debris lodged in the intake — the motor current spikes above the BMS trip threshold. The BMS shuts the output to protect the cell, then resets once current normalises. Check and clear the filter before concluding the battery is at fault. If the cutout persists on a clean filter, check that cell voltage at rest reads at or above 14.4V after a full charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Domo DO211S has noticeably less suction than it used to but the battery indicator still shows charged — what's going on?

A partially blocked filter is the most common cause. When airflow is restricted, the motor draws more current than rated, which causes voltage sag at the battery terminals even on a healthy cell. The vacuum interprets that sag as reduced capacity and dials back motor power before the indicator moves. Remove and clean the filter, then run the vacuum again — if suction returns to normal, the battery was not the problem.

The vacuum runs for a short time, cuts out completely, then works again after sitting for a minute — is this the battery failing?

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not cell failure. The BMS monitors current draw and cuts the output when it spikes above the safe threshold — usually triggered by a blockage at the nozzle or a saturated filter forcing the motor to work harder. Once current drops during the pause, the BMS resets and power returns. Clear the nozzle and filter first; if the cutout still happens on a clean vacuum, charge the battery fully and confirm resting voltage reads at or above 14.4V.

My DO211S battery faded fast after replacing it — it worked well for a month and then noticeably dropped off. Did I get a bad cell?

Continuous dock charging is almost always the cause of early capacity fade in these vacuums. Ni-MH cells degrade faster under constant trickle charge than from normal use cycles. If the vacuum lives on the dock between uses, the cell is being trickle-charged continuously, which accelerates capacity loss. Remove the vacuum from the dock once it reaches a full charge and only return it when the battery is depleted.
